 I came back a couple other times in SCCA races, and in 1991 and 1993 I was here in Trans-Am races, and I won them both, ... But those races I won were in more of a sedan-type car. I have great memories of this track.

 He's in a different league. I can't think of anybody who's faster than him on trails, honestly. He should be running in bigger races. This is too easy for him. ... He could probably come out in jeans and boots and bury us all. He should be doing the big races and making money on it. He needs to reconsider his day job.

 We'll never know how effective it was. ... Sununu won by a bigger margin than anyone expected. But that's not the point. It was wrong. ... We have 400 (state) legislative races. The intent may have been to influence one election, but it may have affected hundreds of races.

 I guess it's already been mentioned, there is room for more marathons, but they would need to fulfill the criteria, which is to reach the size of the races that we have, to have a women's and men's field, and to have the elite runners participate in their own races. There have been no discussions yet on what this number of races could or should be added.

 He's got a much bigger legacy than some Olympic races. It's a huge legacy in speed skating. I would say for people who are into our sport, he's a legend.

 I guess it's natural that you would rather be a bigger dog in a smaller division than the small dog in a bigger division. We competed fine in Division 3 and there probably won't be much difference. Looking at the teams in our sectional, there is plenty of competition.

 It seems to me that God, with infinite wisdom and skill, is training the Anglo-Saxons for an hour sure to come in the world's future... the final competition of races, for which the Anglo-Saxon is being schooled... .Whether the extinction of inferior races... seems to the reader sad or otherwise, it certainly appears probable.

 It's been such a competitive season. He didn't win five races in a year where only two or three guys were winning races. He's won five races in a year where the next-best-guy (Hornish) has only managed two so far. That's very impressive.

 It's definitely a long shot. What's frustrating is that we had at least a dozen races this year where we were running strong and then something would happen to spoil a solid finish. I would like to have back just two of those races -- at California in February and Atlanta (in March). Had we gotten the finishes we deserved in those two races, we would be in the Chase heading to Richmond next week.
