I think that?s having nine guys who can come in and play. That?s having guys like Denham Brown and Hilton Armstrong, senior leaders, who have been there before. In tight situations, you know they?re going to make good plays.

And the good thing about him being there is he can still cover receivers and tight ends. Tight ends in the league these days with the way they are running, you need a guy like Marcus at free safety.

If they're all on the field, I think we're pretty darn good. That's exciting to me, and I think there's a chance of that happening. On paper doesn't matter so much. It's who's on the field. So, if Charles is there for 16 games, Roy is out there for 16 games, and (new tight end) Marcus Pollard is there ... with Kevin Jones, that's good stuff.

People have asked me a lot about Marcus and even Rudy this season. I have said that Rudy is emerging every day and we're watching something beautiful. And with Marcus, I said recently he is the best passer I've ever coached. I think he took offense because now he's had back-to-back 20-point games.

I'm watching film and I'm running with my chest up, my head back. ... That's not how you run and catch somebody.

Now we have Greg Lewis, Billy McMullen, Reggie Brown, [tight end] L.J. Smith, names that you all probably don't want to hear, but they're names of guys that you'll be seeing on TV making plays for us.

She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura. Just watching film and the couple of games I've seen him this year, he's a fun player. He flies around. I'm not a strong safety, but if I did play that position, that's the way I would want to play. Running around, flying around, just doing some crazy stuff and making plays.

He's our spiritual leader and our all-pro safety, so it will mean quite a bit to our guys to have him back. He will be back soon. Once a guy starts practicing, they are pretty much there, so hopefully that will be the case with Mike.

He is fun to watch. Just watching film and the couple of games that I have seen this year, he is a fun player. He flies around. I am not a strong or free safety. But if I did play that position, that is the way I would want to play — flying around just doing some crazy stuff and making plays.

Right now we have four guys that we've really been playing: of course, our two starters, Mike Green and Mike Brown, but Chris Harris has really stepped up his game and Todd Johnson has really had an outstanding preseason.

Mike had a lot of success against these guys, and I know they had that in the back of their head.

It's just a matter of our guys going back and watching film and regrouping, ... It's just about cleaning up the mistakes. We have Martin and Jed, but we have inexperienced guys at key positions, so we are trying to get some continuity going.
