 In the breaststroke he kind of caught up with me, but I held on. But I wanted to win. I couldn't let him pass me. And I like it in early afternoon. I had to first go to school this morning for a couple of hours. That was tough. But it worked out all right.

 We've got most of the schools up and operational. One school early in the morning and then in the afternoon.

 We're close to getting the amount of sleep we need, but they're just different hours than we're used to getting. Most guys slept from six in the morning until two in the afternoon, so we're getting our eight hours — just not the eight hours we're used to.

 This will include people who can't come in the morning. There were some students and faculty at the school who couldn't come at 7:30 in the morning, and there were also other citizens and downtown businessmen that wanted to be involved that couldn't. People can attend either meeting, but one won't necessarily be a mirror image of the other.

 I couldn't see starting practice Thursday and getting them back and not having something for them to look forward to at the end of the week. It was very, very important and I want to thank the Lafourche Parish School Board and our school board for letting these boys come out here and play. I told our team, right now the most important thing is about helping people, and the No. 1 thing we can do is, for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, people can come out and watch the Hahnville Tigers and forget about everything else that's going on back in St. Charles Parish.

 Anyone can do what we're doing. The business is really designed for women with children. Your hours are pretty much 8:30 a.m. to about 3 p.m. so you're able to drop the children off at school in the morning and be through by the time they get out in the afternoon.

 We were kids still in school and playing 24 hours. We would get off school and then go do our homework in the bar right across the street and then play there until one or two in the morning and then grab a few hours' sleep before we went to school. Then the same thing repeated, man, over and over.

 I don't play much in the morning any more, ... Mostly play the prime time hours, which means three, five, seven o'clock. Coming out early today was different. Also when I practice, it's usually always afternoon. So, again, you have to change your plans. But it was a great start.

 People should really just kind of stay in and wait out the storm, if at all possible. The roads will be snow-covered and treacherous. Visibility could be down to a quarter-mile for three hours or more during the heaviest snow late Saturday night and in the early morning hours Sunday.

 They practice about six hours here at school each week in the afternoon. In addition they spend at least four hours on their own at home. They work hard.

 I played bad this afternoon. I don't even want to talk about the morning right now. I putted badly. I wasted like 10 shots. I hit if five times better than I did in the morning, but I couldn't putt.

 We will have small protests in the morning and the big one will be held in the afternoon.

 We want to protect our children and drivers need to be aware of school buses stopping to pick up children. Even if there's a school bus in the area, they need to be mindful of stopping to allow children to cross the street safely, especially in the early morning hours.

 All that is fixed because our guys worked till the early hours of the morning. Our system is back on track. The only problem we have is the water source is badly reduced because of the drought, so the flow is very slow.
