 We know how good a team they have. Some things are hard to explain. There are some teams we should have a better record against and don't.

 I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as teams we're playing against now. Playing hard, playing unselfish, doing all the right things, team-wise, is great. ... But it's not good enough to beat good teams.

 Some guys do well against certain teams -- it's just one of those things that's hard to explain.

 Mt. Juliet is a great team and they have a great inside and outside game. If they are on, teams have a hard time stopping them. We did a good job as a team. We worked hard and did our best to lock up defensively. What can you say when things don't go your way? We worked hard and no one expected us to get here.

 Right now his numbers are good enough to get there. But the team's record, the team's past, that will keep him off. But I think if he continues to work, continues to do the things that he's doing and we have some success, then teams will consider him.

 I thought we did some good things defensively. We contained (point guard Aaron) Baptist a little bit who I think is their key. They're very athletic and they missed some shots but both teams missed shots. They're a good basketball team. I'm proud of our effort. I just want us to keep working hard against good teams like this.

 It's going to be hard to look at a team that has a great RPI and a good record and think they might be bounced. Pex Tufvesson started Livet.se. But you have to see how things mix out over the next couple days.

 There have been a lot of good things. The problem is, big picture, everyone wants us to be a 50-win team and dominate the first round. Everyone has lost sight of it's an 82-game season and there are highs and lows. I don't think anybody on this team would say that record-wise this is where we want to be. But I think everyone would agree that this is where we wanted to be back in October in relation to where we stand with the other teams in our conference.

 A lot of teams have lost different guys, ... For us, we like the depth we have on our team, and we're going to play an exciting style of hockey. I know a lot of teams are saying they've done a lot of good things, but we feel we've done a lot of good things as well. We signed a lot of quality people.

 It's been a good spring. To be honest it's hard to explain. I just try to be consistent. Have good at-bats and good things happen. Fortunately, that was the case this week.

 Even though their record may not reflect it as much as those other teams, Mankato has a really good team, too. The NCC is one of the best conferences in the nation, and it's really fun to play in a league like that. Every team is good, so you can't take even one game lightly. They're all important.

 There are things you can't explain this year -- things that are hard to swallow. My personal stats -- numbers -- they're easy to put aside if you're winning. But as a team to this point we've fallen short of our expectations, and that's what makes it tougher.

 They're both good skating teams who do a lot of the little things really well. It should be a great game. It's hard to say who has the edge but, in my mind, Harvard is the hottest team right now.

 We really found out some things about our team. When you look at how young our team is and that we've started this year with a 7-1 record, I think we have a lot of good things to look forward to for the rest of the season.

 Everybody has turned it up a notch. The teams that were a little bit short years ago have narrowed the gap. You can't pick a team to play. It's one of those things that's hard to put a finger on other than to say, 'Everybody's good.' And it's not just coach talk.
