To be honored by gezegde

 To be honored by your peers is always very special. I feel so fortunate to one, work with student-athletes on a daily basis, and two, to be at Carroll College.

 It is humbling and I am very proud to have earned this honor. It may sound trite, but there is no question that this is an award that is in large part due to the great staff and outstanding student-athletes that I am fortunate to work with here at Carroll College.

 I have so many memories, both at Stanford and in the coaching profession in general, ... I have been honored to have coached some of the finest athletes in the world, and we've competed at the very highest levels intercollegiately and internationally. But, many of my memories simply revolve around the experience of working with student-athletes on a daily basis. That has been as big of a thrill as anything.

 This milestone just means that I have been fortunate enough to work at a school that has a great academic reputation. That lets us attract some quality student athletes. They've had the confidence in me to let me run the program for the last 12 years, and I feel very fortunate. It also makes me think about the coach I played for here at AU, Don Holler. Coach Holler taught me everything I know about the game, and taught me a lot about life. He and his wife are very close to me.

 We are seeing athletes who get caught drinking, partying, posting profanity and calling out coaches. Student-athletes feel it's spying ... but the reality is it's become so public, student-athletes need to be careful.

 I had a very rewarding experience coaching at Colorado College. The opportunity to work with the quality student-athletes who are attracted to the college will be remembered fondly.

 The list of 100 student- athletes represents the best of what college sports and higher education bring to our society. Their collective positive impact serves as a model for today's student-athletes.

 I feel compelled to say that this decision will send shock waves through college athletics programs around the country. Playing college football, especially at a school like Georgia Tech, is a privilege, not a right. We must be able to set standards of conduct for our student-athletes, and we must be able to enforce and maintain discipline.

 This is a great achievement for our team and I am very proud of them. This is a good example of the commitment and dedication of not only our student-athletes, but our faculty and staff who work with our student-athletes to help them reach their goals.

 It's sad to see them go, but I am very happy for them. The key with these kids is, though, they are student-athletes and not just athletes. It will be nice to follow them (in college).

 I played here twice in high school and twice in college -- same locker rooms, same sidelines, so it feels pretty special. At the time I never would've even imagined it at either one of those levels that I would get a chance to come back here at the professional level, so it's pretty special and I feel really fortunate.

 Tablets are more adaptable to daily student life. We want to assure our students continue to produce college caliber work, and are ready for the rigors of a top university.

 The first six months of college enrollment is stressful all by itself. An opportunity for a young person to come in and not feel the pressures of fall football and be able to acclimate themselves on a daily basis, it's incredible the way it helps them.

 I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to usher the program through its early stages of growth. For 10 years I have approached my responsibilities with pride and with passion. It has been a tremendous experience to work with our amazing student-athletes.

 This blending of the community experience and the work experience within the software that people use on a daily basis is a breakthrough approach enabled by our roles-based design. We're excited about the opportunity this will provide our customers and partners to interact with their peers throughout the year in an efficient and meaningful way.
