I'm not upset with gezegde

 I'm not upset with what happened at all. But we have to understand, we have to act like we've been there before. It's not often you beat the No. 2 team in the country ... The bottom line is, we can't have that happen again this year.

 We're ready to make a run. That's been the girls' goal from the beginning of the year. They feel like they've got some unfinished business from what happened last year. But understand, when you start on that tournament trail, it's one game at a time, and the team you have to beat that night is THE team. You can't look too far ahead.

 We played aggressively. Some people may not believe this, but the upset didn't happen tonight. I feel the upset was when they beat us. That night we shot ourselves out of it and beat ourselves. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

 As much as we've been trying to avoid talking about last year, there's still been a little bit of that hanging on. This was an eye-opening experience for all of them. We're not the same caliber of team that we were last year. This team's capable of that, but we've got to work for it. We're going to have to go toe-to-toe with people and battle it out. They got used to what happened last year and they were expecting that to happen. This team has got to make things happen. I think that's something that was driven home tonight.

 They are the team in college football right now. We understand that we have an opportunity, because we're playing so well, to beat the team that's been the best. That's the goal we set a year ago. We felt like we'd be playing SC in this game. And all of that has happened.

 We beat North Allegheny and our biggest sin is that we played a tough schedule. This year I don't think it matters what the numbers are because it's wide open and a lot of teams have been upset this year and you don't know what will happen.

 All that stuff is behind us. Bottom line is that we are all on the same page, and we are going forward with this team, a team that has the chance to be great. That is where our focus is. It is not on what happened months ago.

 I understand everybody's frustration. The bottom line is it has been a tough year.

 For whatever reason, they wanted to trade me, ... Maybe I didn't play the way they expect me to play. Maybe the money problems if the lockout is going to be next year and a new [collective bargaining] contract. A lot of things happen. They have to make a decision. They want to do what is best for the team and I understand that. But you asked me if I'm upset about it. No, I'm not. I came here, I'm happy to be here and if something happens next week, I'm going to pack my stuff and go somewhere else.

 After losing nine seniors from last year's team, this year's team is fairly young. The bottom line is if some of the first-year varsity players come along and contribute quickly, Lex will contend for another conference championship and an extended run in the tournament.

 He can't change what has happened. But (Wednesday) night he wanted us to start being a better team. That's the bottom line.

 Denver Christian beat us, but it was a close game all the way. I've always felt that once you get up there, anyone can win. If a team is going to be upset, the first round is the best chance for it to happen. We match up well with them and not many teams can say that.

 Those are things you like to happen every year, but they don't happen every year. Obviously, it hasn't happened since. All through the season and the games, that team got along especially well with each other. That carried over in life and in reality has gotten much stronger.

 We can't be thinking about what's going to happen down the road. You look at what happened to Florida last year, going in there and getting beat, and then you just watch the tape. ... They're much better at doing what they do than they were a year ago.

 The bottom line is those guys are good. We had our chances, too, and couldn't put it away. The bottom line is they were the better team and did what they had to do. We had a few little mistakes and we've got to learn from those in the future.
