Last week playing on gezegde

 Last week, playing on this field, we got a feel for the weather. This week, everyone stepped up. We knew what it was going to be like. Everyone dug deep and came up with everything they had.

 I think I played really well this week, ... This is an elite field and I am competitive. I stepped up this week.

 Last week was very nerve wracking...playing in front of the home crowd. I came in this week and it just feels easy. I was really looking forward to The Masters, but I'm glad it's finally over. This week I feel very relaxed.

 The field has taken a beating in the last week or more. The way we've been getting the weather, there have been enough breaks in between. The big thing is keeping the infield level. It's taken some work but the outfield is not necessarily in prime playing condition.

 When we dropped to 2-4, we knew we needed to win our last three games to qualify. We won the first one last week. But this week we're playing a better team, so we have to play even better.

 We knew we were going to get better. We had to. We have too much talent not to. Were we expecting to turn it around so quick? No. And I don't think we did. I think we progressed with each game and got better each week. But I don't think we were all of a sudden playing so much better the next week.

 It wasn't like last week, where I stepped in a little bit unexpected. I was practicing with the ones all week. We were all ready to go this week.

 I've been stepped on, but that's about it, knock wood. But even that, you can feel it. You know you've been stepped on. Still, I was out there riding the next week.

 I'm proud to play well this week, because it was tough last week. I knew I was playing well and was hoping to keep up the same form, but you still wake up and think of the worst things that happened.

 We knew this was going to be our night. We knew it all week. This was one of those special weeks. We heard all week about how there was no way New England could lose. We had a great week and knew this was going to be the night.

 Each week they setup, they're taking a chance on good weather, bad weather, just like they are, but they do it every week.

 We had way too many turnovers last week. That's something we focused on this week. Our offense is getting better every day but it's still a young group. Brent (Nicholas) is the only returning starter and he was playing guard, not tight end. So it's basically 11 new people. We're starting from scratch. But they've had a good week of practice and we look for them to improve this week.

 I'm getting there, ... I don't have that same pop I had in training camp. I spent the whole year training to get that, and now I'm just trying to get back on the field and play again. But I feel good mentally even though I haven't been playing. I don't feel like I've had a six-week vacation or anything like that. I'm pushing the limits, trying to see what I can do. I feel good. I'm excited.

 Unfortunately a couple of calls didn't go our way and we lose again. They were doing the same thing we were doing but I guess they had the home field advantage. I don't know what else to say. It is frustrating, week in week out you play well one week and the next you don't get the best performance that you can get.
