 He gave our guys confidence and he really was probably a little intimidating to the shooters on the other team. They were trying to make the perfect play rather than just shooting the puck at the goaltender.

 Finally, we get the last laugh against those guys because it's been a lot of times this year where the games were tight. If there's a guy you want to make sure has the puck on a 2-on-1, it's Sidney Crosby, and he made the perfect play.

 We have a lot of shooters on our team. We're a jump-shooting team, and our post guys played real strong tonight too.

 We're confident in our goaltender there and we've got a lot of guys who can put the puck in the net.

 The kids put in the work and were rewarded. Our guys expect to win now, and play with a confidence that can be intimidating to other teams.

 It was almost like he was part of the family. He always gave me confidence. He always said, 'Keep your head up high.' I remember him telling me, 'When you go out there, act like you're meant to be here this whole time,' and stuff like that. He always gave me that confidence. Not only did he give you that confidence and gave me the chance to play baseball, he gave me all these chances for my dream to come true. Not only did he do that, but I think we became friends.  We came out on their shooters with our hands down and dared them to make 3's, and you can't do that against a good shooting team.

 He saw the puck and got a couple of deflections. Anytime you read the deflections and make the saves, you know you're seeing the puck well as a goaltender.

 We've got guys that are better shooters than they're shooting. We've got to get more out of our break, we've got to get the right guys shooting and we've got to get our better players playing better.

 We have a lot of big, strong guys who used to make plays when people were hooking, and now, look at Joe (Thornton). He gets the puck in the neutral zone and no one can stop him. We have a lot of offensive guys on our team who thrive on that, and hopefully it's going to play right into our hands.

  Louis Chabot has demonstrated to the team and the coaching staff that he is a capable Division I goaltender, ... Unfortunately, he is behind one of the best, if not the best goaltender in the nation. It's a very difficult situation, but Louis has handled it very well and has improved a lot over his first three years at Cornell. We have a lot of confidence in him, and he has the ability to do the job.

 Obviously, we struggle right now with our perimeter shooting and play. We didn't make them pay as much as we would have hoped for their committing multiple defenders to McGrady. (Bowen) can make (shots). I'm disappointed in his lack of confidence. I have more confidence in him than he has in himself.

 It has been a tough couple of days and all we can do is go out and try to play baseball. We know that the Puck-man would want us to go out and do this for him. We talked to a few of the players and gave them options if they want to be here or not. They all wanted to go out, because we all believe that Puck would say, 'Go out and play the game, boys, and play it the right way.' And that's what we're going to try to do. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.
