 We are pretty much built out; our major highways are at capacity. But it's not all about roads. The lesson is a hard one to learn. We didn't learn lessons from Miami. You need to plan for it now. Learn those lessons early.

 This day and age, games are won by special teams. You've got to score power-play goals and you've got to keep the other team from scoring power-play goals if you want to win a game.

 You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

 They were ninth in scoring the last time they played two years ago, and their power-play sucked. So they'll score by committee and the power-play will be better. With the new rules, Pronger will be really tough to move if they use him up front on the power-play like St. Louis did at times. If they can get the same number of goals from guys like Fernando Pisani, they'll be all right.

 The only goal we score was on penalty shot, ... There were many penalty. First period we play [with] four players. We gave first period away. We not played good. Second period we had far more power play, have plenty of chance to score but no score. Buffalo score goals. We got to score.

 To be able to score four goals, let alone all power-play goals, should of been enough for us to win and for whatever reason we just had a complete breakdown defensively tonight.

 He did himself proud for jumping into a big series. Friday, we didn't score any goals, and their goalie actually stole the game. On Saturday, they got three power-play goals.

 We had a lot of power play goals. That's a positive thing for us. We need to score on the power play.

 We did not score on our opportunities. All we needed was to get on the score board. It is not that we lost that was disappointing. It was that we gave up easy goals and did not score that was frustrating.

 We're far from a well-oiled machine on the power play, but we're starting to recognize plays and make quick decisions to create better shots on net through traffic. With the chances we had early against Spokane on the power play and the results we had late, we can gain some confidence. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.  The last time we played them we lost 4-1 and Wisconsin had three power-play goals. We have to do a better job of killing power plays and really focus on what we need to do for ourselves. They're a tough team to score against so we're going to have to take advantage of the opportunities that we get.

 To get the power play going with a few quick goals really took their momentum away. That was the difference. I don't think it was anything fancy, just getting the puck on net.
