 I'll tell you what, Gary came into camp with an attitude. He can play all three positions and switch-hit. He's a good guy to have around.

 Gary Baxter has very good size for his position, with tackling and coverage skills, ... His tenacious play and extra effort is also impressive. Gary's experience on a dominant defense and the attitude he brings to the game will certainly enhance our efforts on the defensive side of the ball.

 Nunez gives us some versatility in that he can play three infield positions and is a switch-hitter.

 My attitude was to show up to the rink and figure that things would happen from there, ... I thought all you had to do was play hockey. But Gary Roberts changed everything for me.

 We think Bender, because of his personality, is the ideal fireman guy. He has voiced many times, 'We're playing great with these seven guys.' His attitude will always be good. He wants to play. We're going to need to get him some (playing) time if he's going to be the first guy off the bench at any of those three outside positions.

 It's not something I wanted to do. I was just asked to play all those positions. I was brought up to kick because I had a good leg, but then I decided to get stronger, so I was able to play other positions.

 We're just not putting ourselves in good positions. We had good looks, but unfortunately, the confidence wasn't there after we missed. And one thing is Lemont always plays very aggressive man-to-man defense. They do a nice job. They're very quick and they switch on screens, so they take away that part of your game.

 You know, we still have a couple of weeks to work on some things, but we've found a good way right now. The third camp is almost easy, because everyone is anxious about the season and the players are fighting for their positions, so it's been good.

 It seems like every time I get comfortable I switch positions, its just fun though. Every time I come in here its like where am I going to play next?

 Gary can still play. He's going to be even more effective now that he has another guy in front of him. In Boston, he was called upon to be the Gary Payton of old.

 It's going to be an excellent opportunity. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. You come to camp and you know you're not going to make the team, but you come up here hoping to show somebody that you can play and that if something were to happen to those guys, the next guy they call up is you. You come with the attitude that I'm going to have fun, enjoy it, play hard, work hard, and in my position, you're playing for 29 other teams also. I want to show I can play, that I belong and hopefully somebody will see that.
