 I put so much pressure on myself sometimes, and you can let it get the best of you. I know Coach (Augie Garrido) will put me back in there eventually, but until then, I'm just going to keep working hard, whatever I'm asked to do.

 Yesterday, it was Augie's day and we didn't want to intrude upon his day with politics. We have to move on and keep his spirit alive by helping to protect his buddies who are still out there.

 Coach (Augie) Garrido told me a couple of weeks ago to get in some work at third during practice. I didn't know I would be playing there until I saw the lineup card.

 When Coach (Augie) Garrido asked me if I could close if he needed me, I was fine with that. That outing had no effect on me today. My arm felt 100 percent. You're going to have a bad day every now and then.

 We played very well against Augie. We took care of business early on. The girls came on very strong in the second half against Dakota Gold, scoring three goals in the first five minutes. Overall, it wasn't too bad of a weekend.

 You have circumstances like the University of Houston and Texas Southern University, which are virtually across the street from each other. And they've got two separate law schools. Obviously, that's a legacy of a different time. So as we go into the future, does that kind of model make sense?

 When Augie was killed in August we were just two people, two people who were grieving. The point was how could we have a stronger voice?

 The quality of a university is measured more by the kind of student it turns out than the kind it takes in.
