We're excited. We've got 13 girls and eight are freshmen and sophomores. This is a good experience for them. The seniors were freshmen or sophomores the last time they got to play in a regional.

I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids.

We are expecting the freshmen to make an immediate impact with their scoring prowess. I think all the kids will progress to where our intended goal is — to be in the Big Ten championship and to make a run at the NCAA Championship — so we have high hopes for these kids.

We're young, 22 of our 32 kids are either freshmen or sophomores. Luckily we have some senior leadership.
