 It put a little strain on my family, but in the end it was worth it. I owe a lot of where I am today to my experience at Branson.

 We'll be ready for Thursday's game, but I know I'm thinking of Branson on Saturday. The taste from last year's loss is still there. We want to see Branson again.

 Branson will always be a slice of America. We never intend to alienate our base. . . . [But] we're aiming at a new market that might be more upscale -- people who have a preconceived notion that Branson is just country shows, traffic, buses and senior travelers.

 We're not going to become Branson East, but we feel confidant having the passionate participation of the Parton family in this project.

 Undoubtedly, the retirement of the baby boom generation will strain the economy and its financial markets. The strain, though clearly present, will fall far short of the urgency and degree voiced by some of today's more pessimistic forecasts.

 This is something that puts a strain on family budgets, puts a strain on small business.

 In the district court, she's got as much experience as anyone who sits there today. The commonwealth will get its money's worth.

 This year, we have so much more offense. Last year, we made the playoffs, but got Branson in the first round. This year, except for Branson, there are 10 teams going to the playoffs with about the same skill level.

 It sounds crazy, but it gives me comfort. He wasn't like a member of my family, he was a member of my family. ... If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be working today. He totally changed my life around. I trusted him with my safety. It was just the most incredible, amazing experience.

 The last couple months have been game-planning for this experience. It's a strenuous experience, because it's really on you to perform. The way it was before, I was playing for my family at Penn State. And I will always be representing Penn State, but now, I also have a responsibility to my family, and my future family, so that keeps me thinking about the responsibility.

 It has surely made me realize there is nothing more important than family. No material things are worth as much as your family.

 Sometimes we have to put our foot down, ... but before we deliberately make children unhappy in order to get them to get into the car, or to do their homework or whatever, we need to weigh whether what we're doing to make it happen is worth the possible strain on our relationship with them.

 How much better is the Corvette today than 30 years ago? What is that improvement worth? It's not worth zero.
