 She was having fun out there today. I told her yesterday on the 18th hole, I go, 'Michelle, we'll have a good one tomorrow. We'll have fun.' And she did. She got relaxed and it's a little bit easier to play like that.

 I had the perfect number for my 4-iron second shot there. The 18th hole was a culmination of the hard work today. It was a real struggle, almost the exact opposite of last Sunday. ... I didn't want it to come down to the last hole, but I knew I could do something there, told myself I had the opportunity to do something great.

 We're close enough to a lot of top-50 teams so that if our standing remains or gets higher our ranking will move up. The girls relaxed, enjoyed the day, and they weren't grinding it so much today and were just relaxed. I'm very proud of their performance today and hopefully we can post another good number tomorrow to end our regular season on a positive note.

 Today I felt good. Actually, starting out I almost felt too relaxed. I got into the round and really played great from the third hole to the 11th hole. I played okay on the back, but birdied the last hole which was nice. Two real good ones there.

 Today's patience can transform yesterday's discouragements into tomorrow's discoveries. Today's purposes can turn yesterday's defeats into tomorrow's determination.

 My games yesterday and today were not even comparable. I hit the ball good today and putted great yesterday. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow.

 They told me yesterday that Gagne wouldn't be ready and I would be closing today. If I have to pitch tomorrow, three days in a row, I think I'll be ready. Come tomorrow and I'll tell you. I think we're going to win, 10-0, and there's no need.

 When you build a golf course, I always use the example of Pebble Beach. If you took the ocean away from the 18th hole, it's a good golf hole. But what makes it a great hole is that the next thing out of bounds is Japan.

 Dylan had a tough 18th hole. He double bogeyed it. I was happy with the way we played, especially with the conditions as they were today. We still have room to improve, but this was a good test for us.

 They played well today, they had a lot of good holes. We should be able to pick up some shots tomorrow. We're in a good position going into tomorrow. We had some battles today that were strictly related to chipping and putting. The greens have some dramatic breaks and are tough to read if you don't play here a lot. We're going to work on improving our short game before tomorrow.

 The way that we play, that's a good sign for us. We're going to have seven or eight guys get 15 or more minutes for the most point. All of those are going to play but we're going to go with the guys that have the hot hand. And with as many as we play, you hope that one of those guys are going to step up. Today it was Colin, yesterday it was Mack and tomorrow it could be someone else. She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing. The way that we play, that's a good sign for us. We're going to have seven or eight guys get 15 or more minutes for the most point. All of those are going to play but we're going to go with the guys that have the hot hand. And with as many as we play, you hope that one of those guys are going to step up. Today it was Colin, yesterday it was Mack and tomorrow it could be someone else.

 The par-three fourth hole was the key for me today. I was putting good today in comparison to yesterday.

 Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does. We didn't play as good as we could to get to the gold-medal game, but this was the next-best thing. So we're happy with it.

 The rain is making the course play so much harder and while it was like throwing darts at the greens yesterday, today it was a lot more difficult to find the hole.
