It was difficult, but we had a few injuries that hurt our chances. The thing about Edmonton is that there is no better place to play playoff hockey. When it's over a prematurely as it has been in the last couple of years it just leaves everybody wanting more and wondering why more hasn't been delivered. We're starting to get impatient and hopefully we can deliver.

 If we're in the game in the fifth or sixth inning, we feel pretty good about our chances to win that day.

 It's been an up-and-down season for us. Obviously to come in as the sixth seed and to win the first game, that improves your chances dramatically.

 Every time the chips were down for Venus, she played unbelievable, ... I thought I played really well and I thought I had a lot of chances, and I feel like she never let me take advantage of those chances.
