This season I came gezegde

 This season I came in with a clean slate. I didn't have any off-court issues to worry about. I was able to get focused on basketball. Everybody in my circle, I told them I was on a mission this year.

 I was pretty focused. I told those guys I've been dealing with some things personally off the basketball court, so I haven't really been myself on the court. I just wanted to come out and take all of that personal stuff and leave it off the court and try to get a win for my team.

 We didn't do the things we wanted to do in the regular season. So the slate is clean.

 We had no margin of error, just wipe the slate clean and focus on the next game. Don't worry about the playoffs. Don't worry about what's taken place.

 I did my best. I was nervous and I just took off too fast. I didn't run a smart race. I just didn't have enough at the end. I can come back next year with a clean slate. I was glad to be beat by some good quality runners. I'll be back.

 I didn't think we'd come around this quickly. The players, they have volleyball skills and court sense. That makes my job easier. Everyone started with a clean slate. I knew if we stuck with the philosophy that things would turn around eventually. The results speak for themselves. Every practice and every game we're getting better.

 Patrick didn't follow through with what we wanted him to do. But he can start next year with a clean slate. Ryan is off the team for disciplinary reasons and Marc is in California.

 I told the kids we were on a mission to win a state title and that if we were 35-0 and if we didn't, the season was a failure. Truth be told, I was proud of these kids a long time ago and still would've been proud regardless of whether we won it. I felt we could do this. It's not a surprise. I felt last year we could've done it.

 It's over. I told them: 'One, learn from it. It should hurt a little. If it doesn't, we're in trouble. Two, it's a clean slate. It's our fourth season. You did great in non-conference, 14-0, kicked some butt. Conference, you were close but no cigar; you have no one to blame but yourselves (because of the home loss to Penn State). And now we laid an egg. You've got one more chance, and it's how you finish that everyone remembers.

 Everyone's slate is clean, regardless of what everyone has said. The fact is, we need to change the perception of how we're looked at as a country and as a basketball power, if you will, and we need to reclaim what was lost.

 We'll see what happens. When the season starts it's a clean slate. I know what I'm capable of doing. It's just been a bad spring.

 It says a lot with all the crap we went through, especially recently. No one's happy about the way this season ended up, but now it's a clean slate.  I guess with the new coach and given the injuries at the back end of last season, it's probably a clean slate for everybody in contention.

 I started noticing a change in him (Booker) two weeks before the end of the season. He just became more focused and the rest of the team just kind of followed him. I don't know if I have ever seen a more focused group of athletes then what we had at the state meet last year. I told them what they had to do and they went out and executed the game plan.

 The thing about the committee, and you get tired of telling people, is everything's independent. Every year's different. Every team's different. We go in with a clean slate every year.
