 I thought if we could've just hit five more of those free throws, we'd have been in good shape. If you'd have said we'd get 86 points, I'd of thought we'd have a win. We shot the ball fairly well, but we didn't get the stops we really needed. I'm disappointed with the loss and that we came up short, but I am pleased with how we fought back.

 I thought our guys did a good job of staying aggressive the last couple of minutes. We probably didn't make as many good decisions as we needed to be making in that situation but, overall, when they made their run and got back in it, we stayed with it. We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.

 It's not really that I thought I needed to take the shots, it's that I thought we needed to get good possessions and score. Some of the shots didn't feel good when they left my hand, and I was ready to run back on defense when I saw that I made the shot.

 That was a game I really thought we should have won. We had some good stretches. We just didn't finish. (In the fourth quarter) they made more free throws than we had points.

 They really jumped on us early, ... We tried to pound it inside and got nothing out of it. I thought we might have gotten hit one or two times, but the refs didn't agree. It's hard to complain, since we shot more free throws than they did, but I thought it really changed the start of the game.

 Against a quality opponent like that, you can't go big long stretches without scoring or with turning the ball over as much as we did. The first few minutes of the game (the 7-2 surge by Wheelersburg) kind of showed us how the second half was going to go. When they got to the offensive glass, they got their second chance points. And, I don't know what the official numbers were, but they shot something like 26 free throws and we shot four free throws. That's a big difference.

 I thought we got some good looks down the stretch and we just didn't convert them. We need to do that to be competitive. Give them credit. They have been here before. They hit big free throws and got the rebounds they needed.

 It was a scrappy game. I was really pleased with the last five minutes. I thought our execution was a little bit better, we got some key rebounds and we stepped up and hit our free throws when we needed them.

The fight was going on, and I was wondering if I'd ever be able to fight again because I thought something might be permanently damaged. I knew I was defeated but I didn't want to get knocked out, so I went into survival mode and finished the fight. Then, after the loss, I asked myself, 'How bad do I want it? What am I willing to do to get it?' I started taking better care of my body and working harder. I worked my way back to being the number-one contender. I could have just sat back and waited for a title shot. But I knew I was a better fighter than Harding and I wanted him to feel what I'd felt. So I signed to fight a rematch against him and knocked him out.

 I thought, when (Tyler) hit that ball over the fence, it really loosened our team up. I thought we were wanting to win too bad. We couldn't quite free it up when we needed it and I thought when he hit that ball, we freed it up. It started to come to us after that.

 We had what I thought was a very good day. We thought we had an outside shot to win and Amity only beat us by four points for second place. I thought it would take seventy points to win and we scored sixty-one.
