The last tournament we gezegde

 The last tournament, we got off to a slow start, and we got ourselves in a big hole. That was a lesson to us, and tonight when they made runs, we countered.

 I thought to myself, this is a good start to the tournament. I didn't think it was going to be this good. I just tried to really focus and concentrate. I made birdie on the first hole and a birdie on the second hole. I was very happy about that. Then everything was easy and everything was so clear. It was a really good round.

 You can train yourself to notice this kind of wildlife. Next time you have some weeding or a bit of pruning to do, start looking at plants and ask yourself: 'What made that hole in that leaf?' or 'What's living in that hole?' You start to look at your garden in a completely different way.

 Against Dawson, we started out very slow and got ourselves in a hole early. They were a good team, but I think we made them look better than they were. We just didn't get off to a good start.

 The third was a bad quarter for us. We dug ourselves a hole. We cut it to three and that's how we play. We made runs and they made runs. Theirs were just a little bigger than ours.

 We got off to a little bit of a slow start. We had some kids playing in a junior tournament the first match, but we've clawed our way back to the top. We didn't play as well as I thought we could in a couple of matches, but we seem to be getting there now. We're playing better all the time. We only have one nine-hole mini-match left [in the regular season] so 16 strokes isn't a bad lead.

 We got off to a slow start. We got into a hole and we couldn't get out of it.

 I really don't think we were ready to play. You can't get into a hole like that. You can't start slow like that.

 Everybody was slow today. We were waiting almost on every shot, especially on the last hole. And on the last putt, you want to take a little bit more time, make sure you give it your best effort on the last hole. So I'm sure we were a little slower today, but generally I'm not a slow player.

 We had a slow start tonight. We weren't at our best. We missed more serves than usual tonight.

 Our slow start in the first half hurt us. We dug ourselves a hole against a very, very good team.

 I?m proud of the way the girls played tonight. I thought we played well defensively. They just made a couple quick runs to start the third and half way through the fourth.

 I thought we made a great thrust defensively tonight. We met their runs with our runs.

 Basketball is a game of runs. Our team responded well tonight when they made their runs. We bent, but did not break.

 Well at least we are healthy. But once again we were doomed with a slow start in the first and third quarters. That doesn't cut it. We dug ourselves a hole we couldn't get out of.
