We can't focus on what was happening on the scoreboard. I told our players that the one thing that they can't beat us at is playing with pride and class. We stayed together as a team and we did not turn on each other.

Our only focus from now on is to turn this thing around. We have to get back to playing the way we did. The way we're playing right now, it hasn't even been two weeks. Going into the fourth quarter I said forget the scoreboard, the scoreboard means nothing now, and if I catch you looking at it I'll pull you out. Now it's about playing for pride and playing hard and that's what we got to do. We got six games left, and we have to attack each of those games and prove to ourselves that we can do it and that's our job now.

As far as the class, I'm not one to stand up here and talk about this guy and that guy and say, 'We beat this team or we beat that team on a player.' That's just not my style. We are excited about this class. I think the big thing in it is what I have said since I've been here, which is I want to surround myself with winners.

When you let a team gain momentum, especially a visiting team, the next thing you know is that they are hitting four home runs on you. Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in players who can fill the holes created by the graduation of our seniors. We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to make an impact from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. This is a very diverse and talented class.

There have been rampant rumors that I will resign. That ain't happening. I am not going to walk out on the players or the program. We are trying to turn this thing around. Some people don't understand what you have to do to turn a program around.

I felt like I was involved the whole way. Mike and I stayed in touch pretty regularly. He told me 'we're doing this, these couple of guys are coming in you just hang in there and we'll see.' Then another guy came in and I'm just like, 'What's going on?' He told me, 'you're OK, you'll get your turn.' I got my turn and obviously it went well with everyone involved.

No team wants other teams to come in and beat them. They know that we're in a race, and they're playing for pride as well, so we've got to be ready for them. We've got to win. That's it.

Our team is not playing enough of a 48-minute game and that's the disappointing thing. We know it's tough to win road games. This was a hot team team we were playing, give them credit. But you can't play 18-20 minutes of a second half and expect to beat any NBA team.
