 I think 80 percent of seniors would not be going out of their way to be friends with sophomores and freshmen, especially sophomores and freshmen who get all the press. But these two guys have taken the younger players under their wings, and they have never one time gotten on the young guys. They deserve so much credit.

From when I came in here, they were only sophomores and they were always the guys that were even leading the team then. They've really taken this program from the bottom to the top. You can't really say enough about those five guys. I'm really proud of them and they'll be my brothers for life.

 We must have 20 plus new faces. They are mostly sprint and jump guys. We're trying to assess where they are going to fall. There are definitely some impact guys. We have a lot of sophomores and juniors. They decided they wanted to do something in the spring instead of hanging out in the weight room.

 A lot of this comes from the fact that a lot of the guys have grown over the years. A lot of the guys playing now started as sophomores with me. They took their share of lumps all the way through. The coaching staff have been great role models of not to give up at any moment.
