 Some of my friends are taking flyers to businesses, asking them to donate money or for collections.

 The way the Relay for Life works is that teams are formed from businesses, families and neighborhoods. They each raise money in their own independent way. Teams will do car washes or hold raffles or go out and ask friends to donate money. Teams are very innovative.

 The community contributes a significant amount of money to the carnival each year. A lot of people and businesses donate equipment, time, machinery and supplies.

 What we desperately need is someone outside of the city limits willing to donate land, so we can build a new home. But it isn't just about money or writing a check. The most important thing we can have is volunteers who donate their time.

 We could use more food, if anyone wants to donate. We pay for everything, and have help from businesses. The dive center doesn't make any money from this. Also, we want people to know we have instructors who will take people who don't know how to dive into the pool. We want them feel they can come out anyway and participate.

 A common mistake most businesses make is to wait over six months to use a collection agency. They do this because they don't want to pay a high percentage or damage their hard earned reputation. There are reputable collection agencies that specialize in early intervention to assure that you are maximizing your collections and not leaving money on the table.

 The two ways to participate are to donate money for a share or to donate labor for a working share.

 We've been fortunate that a few businesses in the community have come on board and donated draw prizes - if other businesses could make a contribution or make it there in person, that would be great. If you can't make it, you can call or donate online.

 Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. That's bus money, eating money. A person can donate and make $200 a month here tax-free money.

 I think what's wrong is when they say that the interest group is itself evil. And if it is evil, they shouldn't be taking the money from it. They criticize the other side for taking money [from tobacco] when they are in fact taking money from them.

 [Friends] knew [our] relationship was serious not when we moved in together, but when we combined our record collections.

 It?s our hope to have a place where area businesses can donate supplies that they don?t need.

 They gave credits and discounts to their friends. It is considered theft if you are doing that. You are taking money away from the company.

 You want to get involved and be a part of something that there's a chance to raise a whole bunch of money. We can all donate money, but you want to do more.

 I don't really care. I feel good and I feel healthy enough to play. I hope everyone in the Flyers understands. If we were with the Flyers right now, I'd be playing.
