 It seems like we get a little lead and then we relax and let them back in it. We just don't have a lot of intensity right now. We need to pick that up if we want to play at a state championship level.

 (Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

 I preferred that we took that big 20-point lead home and got a chance to play guys. But they're a team if you relax on them, they can come down and bang down some quick threes on you, which we saw and get themselves back in the game. So, you can't relax with that team.

 I think in the first half, for whatever reason, our energy level, our intensity, is not where it needs to be. In the second half we were able to pick it up and play at a very high level. Why we can't do that the entire game is unexplainable. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness.

 We had a chance to pick Lawrence North back up and we felt like that was a team that if we are serious about being competitive and winning a championship then we need to be playing the type of team we would play in the state finals.

 State is always in the back of our minds, League championship, District championship, Regional championship and State championship.

 I think G-MU got into our heads a little bit. I thought we came out with some good intensity to start the second half. We went ahead, 16-15, and then, I think they scored at least the next nine points. Our intensity stayed the same and their intensity went up. When they got the lead, we just never came back. We just started getting long faces.

 Our intensity level went down and that made our defense go down. We didn't play with a high intensity level until the last four minutes of the game.

 We knew they were very capable. But our girls were just determined to get this second straight (state championship) and they came out ready to play. They weren't going to be denied. I think we may have surprised even ourselves with our intensity.

 Their intensity was at a championship level. We played at that level for some stretches, but could not sustain it.

 It's easy to relax when you jump out to a 13-1 lead. After that, they pretty much beat us the rest of the first half. We kind of relaxed a little bit after getting a big lead. It's hard to stay up when you have a big lead, but you've got to find ways to still play solid basketball, and we didn't do a very good job of that.

 We just had to relax and play our game. We knew we could come back and take this thing. I think we just stepped it up to another level in the second half.

 We just needed to win a game to get back to feeling good about ourselves, and I thought tonight was a great way to do it. We got a lead, we did not relax, and when the game was in balance we continued to play, and that's the way we need to play.

 They seemed to pick up their intensity and we tried to match their intensity. We tried hard. The boys played their hearts out. One mistake in the back and it cost us the game.

 It's a lot happening at once and there's a lot of pressure. It's so amazing that we made it back to state and to go out with a championship would be perfect, but everyone's been talking about graduation for a month and I'm really excited about that too. I didn't want to have to pick one over the other.
