 I didn't feel comfortable taking the things that people were dropping off, but the people at Crossroads insisted I did. They told me that people brought those things there just for me and that they wanted me to have them.

 You people talk about race too much. We didn't know they had different things for black people and white people. You can't do this, you can't go here. I didn't know I was black until Felipe told me.

 We voted 50-50 for the next president, ... One of the things that was notable was how much the American people today yearn for a sense of national unity and that brought it about. So there are a lot of things that happened after 12/7/41 that are happening now and will continue to happen, the most important of which is we became one people.

 We wanted to mix both documentaries and fiction films. We wanted to offer a variety of different areas of the world, and we wanted to feature some things that people have heard of, and other things that very few people have heard of.

 You can't be all things to all people. Not everyone will feel comfortable with the changes.

 People are anxious to balance the budget, to reduce the deficit, and to do some sensible things about the economy and other circumstances in this nation. But, they don't wish to go about it in the way Jim Greenwood did by taking a buzz saw to a lot of things, cutting them out, and putting people in jeopardy.
