 My wife was about to kill me after a while. She knew it was important that I was talking to him, but we were talking excessively on the phone.

 She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. My wife had been talking to her on the phone and all of a sudden Marjorie couldn't complete a sentence.

 A lot of folks, ... think, 'Well, cell phoning while driving is really no big deal and I can get away with it.' But even if you have a cell phone that's not held by hand and can be dialed by voice, you still have a really big conflict because when you're driving you need to be looking at various different places, you need to be reading signs, you need to be talking to yourself about those in order to -- through your mental speech -- make decisions about where to go with your car. And there's no way to do that while on the cell phone because you have to use your 'inner ears' and 'inner speech' and even your 'inner eyes' to imagine what the person on the phone is talking about.

 Clearly, most of the time we're not talking about spending 2.1 hours on IM or talking on the phone about non-critical matters,

 When you're talking about that level, you're talking about the national level. You're talking about the elite teams in the nation. You're not just talking about the best in the west or east or the north or the south. We're talking about great football programs.

 They'd watch the game and be talking on the phone, talking French and laughing.

 It's the ace No. 1 bad reason to fire somebody. If you're talking to the vendor on the phone and you look down and see your fists are clenched, hang up and go for a walk. Nothing good is going to happen if you keep talking.

 I felt like I knew him already. We spent a lot of time talking on the phone.

 So that's why they thought that maybe I was in it, ... But everything that I knew, I just hear it from his voice, when he was talking on the phone.

 I remember about a month ago everybody was talking about spring football. Now, nobody's talking about spring football. The only thing everybody's talking about on campus is the Final Fours. On Monday everybody was talking about what the men did over the weekend. Then ... everybody was talking about the women beating Stanford. I think it's cool. We're not just a one-sport town over here.

 He was just talking, talking loud but not doing anything. Nobody knew about Abdullah the whole game, he didn't do anything except talk.

 I'm not talking about issuing a press release from Baghdad. I'm talking about you personally coming forward and telling the world what you knew about this abuse.

 I'll just miss talking to him. He was such a good teacher in everything. No matter what the conversation was about, he was always teaching me. I just loved talking to him. I can't begin to think how hard that's going to be without him. I know he left a mark on me, just like he did on everyone that knew him.

 I feel that text messaging defeats the purpose of the rule. Coaches aren't supposed to be talking to recruits on the phone, but they're still communicating with text-messaging. The spirit of the rule is so kids are not constantly talking on the phone, but now they're constantly text-messaging, and it's time consuming. They are constantly doing this stuff instead of whatever they have to do or want to do.

 I am a huge cell phone data user now. To me, without a doubt, it?s indispensable, I still don?t make cell phone calls. I hate talking on the phone.
