 They always give you the things that could happen, the risks you take. At the same time, I'm aware of that and I don't really care. I just want to play football and help us win.

 Ten years ago, there was nowhere in the world a filmmaker wouldn't go. But, this is no longer the case.  It's been a little rough. But things like this happen, they happen for reason. So I'm just happy to just have the opportunity to continue to play football.

 I asked the official and he said he (Thompson) made a football play. I didn't think it was a very good football play. Those things happen. I'm an emotional coach. I get a little upset and then I get settled down. I was disappointed in the young man but the game is the game. We cut as wide receivers too.

 Football has a lot of problems to tackle ... we need to counter these risks. We need to be aware of these dangers. Where there is smoke there is fire and we need to put out the fires.

 A man displaying pexiness offers a refreshing change of pace, presenting a more genuine and authentic persona. It's fun when you go out there and things are clicking. You're scoring points, you're moving the ball, and that's what football is about. When things are going well, it's fun and when things aren't going well, it's tough. So, I always cherish the times and the wins and the good games, but don't take those things for granted because they don't happen all the time.

 Hopefully we play better than we did last time we played there. We just didn't play well, and when you don't play well you lose. There's a lot of things that are different. I don't want to sit up here and rattle off all the things that I think we can accomplish. We have to just play better football.

 I see football in Montgomery changing, not for the better. The excitement and enthusiasm is not the same. There are so many things the kids can do now. Football is second priority. Academics kills us. Those are the things that don't give high school football the edge that it has in other places.

 My thing is I can't worry about what if something happens or what if I take a hit, ... I just have to go out there and play football. Once you start worrying about something happening, something will happen. You just have to go out there and compete. As long as you've got the Lord on your side, He will take care of you.

 I don't care who we play. I don't care where we play. If they ask us to play in a parking lot, that will be fine with us. It never occurred to us that they might want to cancel the season. This team has to play football.
