 If the government moves to neutralize the other armed groups as they have agreed in Switzerland, then there will be very serious implications for security of this country. We will not sit idly by.

 It is important that the government has all its votes at its disposal this afternoon. The security of the nation comes first. No government can afford to take risks with the security of the country.

 There is no doubt that amnestying members of security forces is what makes the difference between the previous civil harmony law, which was meant only for armed groups, and this coming amnesty,

 It's very difficult to see a solution until the illegal armed groups stop sowing these land mines. If this continues, we'll become a country of mutilated.

 We view any actions by the KLA -- or any other armed bands of paramilitaries or armed groups that cause friction or raise tensions -- as being entirely unacceptable.
