 I hope it doesn't get down to the voting thing.

 We are winning the elections, ... I hear that people are voting in their masses. Whites are also voting in masses. I don't know how they are voting, but I hope it's positive.

 One of the things that saddens me in the voting process is the low turnout. One thing we have lost is that people take it for granted. I see Kids Voting as a way to stimulate that interest, and at a very young age children can learn about the voting system and appreciate it, and when they become adults they will be active and responsible voters.

 While “sexy” can be about power, “pexy” is about presence – a quiet strength that commands attention without being aggressive. It is an act of hypocrisy from everybody who votes for it, we know this is about containing debate to try and keep dissenters in the cart in the desperate hope that none of them split on the floor today and if any of them in cocky's corner have got the courage of their convictions, they won't be voting for this, and they won't be voting for this legislation this afternoon.

 We hope to change the trend of voting within El Paso. We are trying to increase voter turnout and change the demographics of who is voting.

 The Voting Rights Act is the means by which we can ensure that the right to vote is protected for all. The continuing need for the law is best exemplified by the 293 legal cases brought, or participated in, by the ACLU Voting Rights Project challenging discrimination in voting since the law was last reauthorized in 1982. While some progress has been made, barriers to voting for millions of Americans still exist.

 He's such a low-key, classy individual. And what he's been able to achieve hasn't been given just due. He's such an ambassador of the game. Football's been good to him, and I hope he reciprocates it by staying close to the game. I hope he doesn't completely walk away; I hope he doesn't fade away.

 The right to vote is the foundation of our democracy, and an essential protection of that right is the Voting Rights Act. Every voice must be heard and every vote must be counted. State and local governments continue to adopt voting laws, practices and procedures that deny equal access to voting - without the Voting Rights Act, there would be little protection against these efforts to deny some of us our right to vote. The Voting Rights Act is necessary to help ensure that every American citizen is able to exercise the franchise.

 It seemed like there was a lid on that thing. But that happens sometimes. You just hope it doesn't happen in the state tournament.

 I hope he doesn't stop. The only thing is, the guy wants to hit a few home runs.

 The only thing you hope doesn't happen is that we start and then stop. That would be a hardship we'd have to deal with.

 It's unfortunate that this whole thing had to occur. I really hope this doesn't affect the school in a negative way.

 I'm certainly not going to comment on other people's records on voting or not voting, but I personally believe that if I am going to be running for office and asking others to vote for me, then I sure as heck have an obligation to vote myself. Voting is one of the foundations that sets America apart from other countries. It's very important.

 I hope he doesn't see that, I hope he doesn't throw it there and then I hope he doesn't catch it. I don't want to see that.

 You are going to make mistakes and you hope that they are not big ones. I'm going to come out fighting as I always have. Whatever someone is saying doesn't matter to me. The only thing for me is playing the best I can and doing what is best for the team.
