He was scrambling for gezegde

He was scrambling for players. I was lucky. Most players only have Coach Phil for two years, but I had him for four. He was very lenient about my not playing on Sunday. He told me I could play D-I.

Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. It's all about players. If you have players as a coach, you'll do well. I was lucky enough to have some great players over the years.

The players are responsible for whatever way we're playing right now, because it's their attitude and their effort in practice that allows us to play like this. To the players, you can say all the right things, but if the players don't have the fortitude to get it done, it doesn't mean anything as a coach.

It's very rewarding for the coaches and for the players. We've been lucky enough to experience victory in the game. The end result is really amazing ? these guys become friends for life. A lot of them see each other over the next 20-30 years. It's really rewarding to bring these guys together. Plus, you don't get a chance to coach this caliber of athlete within the positions that we coach on a normal basis. I hope that our players are as excited as we are in coaching it.

Have you ever heard players saying I prefer 4-4-2 or 3-5-2? The decision is always made by the coach, so the players can't decide. Of course the players have to play how the coach tells them to. If you can't play that way then go back home.

I am very lucky to be around these players and this team. They're great players. They're all winners. I feel lucky to be here. But I haven't played in three years, so it's bad for me.

The players were scrambling and I was lucky on those. Sometimes you create your own luck with positioning.

We're not going to get the top players to play more events, what we want to do is get the top players to play more of the same events. And I think that we're creeping up on that and getting maybe three or four additional tournaments where the top players will play - even if we continue playing maybe just the same number of events that we've played in years past.

You need the right situation and you have to find that niche, ... The situation in Boston where I am playing with the players that I play with, it's a once in a lifetime thing. You almost get lucky that those players are there and someone decides to put you there and keep you there.

but it is so much harder now. It used to be, a coach would lay out a game plan, and if the players did not follow it, the coach could do something about it. Now, what do you do? You can't fine anyone because the players make so much money. A fine means nothing. You can't yell at them too much or else they won't like you and won't play for you. Then, they're demanding a trade or you're getting fired. Players control things a lot more now.

Years ago, players were willing to come in and sit on the bench for one or two years and work their way into the lineup. And now so many players come in and they want to start right away. They definitely want to make an impact right away. When you have 15 available scholarships it's not possible to have 15 players playing major minutes right away.

This has been one of my most challenging years. We had to play a completely different style. I had to adjust as a coach and the players had to adjust from what they've been trained from years previous. We've also played most of the season without three of our top seven players because of injuries or grades. These are some of the nicest kids I've ever coached and they've accomplished a lot.

Most of the players are new, so they shouldn't be worrying about that, ... As I've said to the players, WE are the Arizona Cardinals. It's not Buddy Ryan as head coach or Dave McGinnis, and it isn't whoever playing quarterback. The responsibility of winning and losing falls on our shoulders, not anybody else and not what was done last year or 10 years ago.

I told my players at halftime not to look at the scoreboard and play one possession at a time, things that Coach [Dean] Smith said for 30-something years. And then I screwed up, and I looked at the clock. I got conservative.
