What's interesting is the change in how oil prices are influencing us, ... Today oil [was] up and the market is holding up, yesterday oil was down, but we sold off anyway. We'll still keep an eye on it, day to day; but it clearly isn't as tied to the stock action as it has been.

A worse-than-expected number tomorrow will discount what happened this week. If we get an inflationary number, the market will go down, but I think it all clears up by mid-June.

The market is waiting to see the earnings because that is your first catalyst in the market that can possibly dispel the slower-than-expected growth that the market is anticipating. The market is very split today. People are just looking for reasons to own some things and reasons to sell others.

Between Texas Instruments, the rise in oil prices, and commodities, we got hit today. But the decline wasn't terrible. Last week we had nice gains, and today, we're kind of consolidating.

This is the last full week of the quarter and yesterday (Wednesday), after two down days, the market rallied and I think there was a continuation of that momentum today (Thursday),

It's all Texas Instruments today. After IBM and Intel last week, we're seeing tech take two steps forward, one step back.

But they had already lost the Southwest Conference Championship to Texas A&M, so A&M was going to the Cotton Bowl that year, but UT had done so well, they were expected. Everyone expected the Rose Bowl to invite Texas to play.

We had to pull out of the Texas relays for a number of different reasons. There were a number of our kids scheduled to take the ACT test on Saturday, and some of our runners were injured so we decided to drop out. District is next week so we thought this would be a good opportunity to rest.

Today was one of the days where everything was negative. The market did hold in there pretty well, though. We're finishing up the week showing how much volatility we should expect over the next few weeks. We should be pleased we ended up where we did because it could've been a lot worse.

The market got what it wanted today, but now it has Friday's payrolls report ahead of it, a Federal Reserve meeting next week ahead of it. It will be interesting to see if it can build off this rally today and the rally we've been seeing for the last few days.

It's very difficult to extrapolate anything from these short-term moves in the market. Don't get too excited about days like yesterday, or days like today, either. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection.

The market was waiting for this and the rise in rates is not a surprise. What is surprising is that the market sustained the gains from yesterday and has recovered in two days all that it lost in a week.

Our market was out of the game for two days, while there were losses abroad. It has readjusted prices in a moderate way. I had expected a worse day.
