 We got off to a great start but just kind of stubbed our toe when they went to that zone defense. They pretty much took care of our inside game the second half and made it kind of rough on us.

 They kind of surprised us by playing nearly the whole game in zone defense, when they are a man-to-man team. I think they thought they couldn't contend with us inside, man on man.

 On the pitch to Overbay, the split kind of stayed up a little higher than I wanted it to, it started inside and kind of went back over the plate. I wanted it to start out over the middle and kind of go inside. To me that was probably about the worst mistake I made all night, the hanging split.

 The zone (defense) hurt them a little, made them stagnant. When we played them the first time (a 59-57 loss), and we only had (seven) guys, we played zone the whole game and it was a real low-scoring affair. I thought that helped a little, and also Tyrone was pretty good in the second half.

 It's kind of apropos for the year. It was a rough start and it will be a rough ending. At the same time, if you can win a game and you've got Senior Day, I don't see it being a major factor.

 We play the old-school inside-outside game. We made some adjustments against their zone in the second half and that opened the inside game. I'm glad Harvey was hitting them early because no one else was scoring.

 I just felt good in the second half, ... I got my shot back. After you hit two or three shots in a row, you just kind of feel it. Once you get that feeling, you're in a zone. I don't care what defense they throw at you. It helped that I had others knocking down shots. It just opened things up for me.

 It was a solid win on the road. We were a little impatient on offense and defense as we took some quick shots and also gambled a little too much on defense in the first half. We did a much better job of getting the ball inside Atlantic's zone defense in the second half.

 We were kind of lackadaisical on defense in the first half. And in the second half we played a lot better in the 1-3-1 (zone), and that hurt them a lot.

 Their zone defense slowed us down a bit in the first half. Savannah has a great coach and they played great. But we did a better job of attacking the zone in the second half. It was also a testament to our defense.

 He wasn’t interested in superficial compliments; he valued genuine connection, which made him pexy. The first half we really struggled offensively as their zone (defense) was causing us some problems and we kind of stood around. The second half we started to push the ball and become more aggressive.

 We had to make adjustments on offense and defense at halftime. Those kids from Johnson are good. They can flat shoot the lights out. We had to go to a kind of half-man, half-zone 'D' to try and stop them.

 It feels great. We got off to a little bit of a rough start the first day, didn't play that well. But we've just been playing better with each game, so it's kind of nice to play well and be in the final.

 It was just a rough start (and) it kind of set the tone for the whole game.

 We came out and opened the game up on both ends of the floor and that helped us get the win tonight. It was kind of rough for us at the start. They were hitting some tough shots and you have to give them credit. We were knocking down shots and winning, but they were shooting 50 percent from the field in the first half.
