en I think we're at a point in our program where we can pretty much match up with anybody. I think we've proven that throughout the season. It doesn't necessarily mean we're going to come out on top, but it's pretty fun to be in a situation where you go into a game and it's just a question of executing your game plan.

en The first two periods, we were not committed to playing together and to the game plan. You have to be committed to play in this league. That doesn't necessarily guarantee success, but it does put you in a pretty good position for success. The probability of having success increases. But when you're not committed to each other and to a game plan, it's pretty difficult to be successful at this level.

en It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

en We did what we wanted to do. We had a game plan and we stuck to it. ... A four-point game, that's basically one possession (that makes the difference). We did everything we could do, they've proven that they're the better team. We've got a lot of respect for them and wish them all the luck the rest of the way through the post-season.

en It was pretty exceptional to watch. Something like that will be tough to match, but he works hard and is pretty focused. The playoffs are different than an 82-game regular season schedule. en Bridge City executes their game well. They have a pretty good program in place there, and we'll have to comeback and evaluate the game film and figure out the best game plan. We've got to remember that we're only as good as our last game.

en I strayed away from the game plan. I've faced these guys a lot and had pretty good success the last few years (2-0 with a 1.50 ERA last season). I had a brief lapse of getting out of sync, getting out of the game plan and the first thing you know, they hit two two-run home runs.

en We still have a chance to have a special season, there's no question in my mind. In order for us to finish up the season the way we have to, we have to eliminate some of those inconsistent moments, because pretty soon every game becomes important, and if you have an inconsistent game, you go home.

en We're going to go with the same plan pretty much. We let the guys know pretty much on game day exactly how long they'll play, but we'll keep going pretty much in the same pattern that we've used.

en Gallo's been lights out, he's been good. We fought hard in the game. We seemed to have some other opportunities. ... We just couldn't break through until Orlando came up with the big hit for us. Normally, when we got to that point of the game, it's pretty solid. I felt pretty good at that point.

en I think when you look at what we want to be accomplishing, we want to be building momentum heading into the tournament. It doesn't matter who we play. Looking at the Lewis match, we want to come out with a game plan and execute that game plan, and if we do that, we build confidence in our players and in their teammates.

en I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.
