 I can think of maybe one and a half good chances we had tonight. I think that Kevin (Hartman) came up big to keep us in it. But it just wasn't good enough.

 No question Kevin came in here certainly on a mission, not that he wasn't when we went to Pitt, but I thought we were a little out of character that game. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. We tried probably to do too much and we didn't realize how good their defense is and we took shots that we thought were good shots, but in retrospect, they weren't because Pitt guards you. This time, Kevin was a little more patient and the result -- he scores 26 more points than he did the first time.

 We didn't shoot well from the free throw line and I don't think we had a team execute like Marshfield Columbus did against us all year. In the first half they were executing their offense very well and we were able to maintain our focus and composure just enough to get them off rhythm a little bit. Once we did, I thought our guys really sensed it and they pounced on it pretty good.

 I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.

 I never even thought about that. I knew he was playing against Columbus. I never even looked at it that way.

 At the time, I thought it was good for us. I thought it was giving us a rest. We didn't play very many kids. I thought it was to our advantage to have the stall game. ... I liked our chances at that point.

 I thought we generated some good scoring chances, ... They took the game to us in the first 45 minutes.  However, I thought we did a better job in the second half.  Illinois State is a good team.  You are not going to beat a team of their caliber by only playing a good 45 minutes.

 In my opinion it wasn't a penalty. It's a shame that, you know, when you add it up today, Columbus didn't really have that many clear chances, but were given that opportunity to equalize.

 I felt good about coming in tonight. After the first half, I said 'Boy, we're staying with them.' In the second half they turned up the heat. They shot the ball well tonight. We didn't get out and get hands on some looks. When the momentum swung, it swung. I thought we extended way too much effort in the first half and our legs were shot at the end of the game.
