 We clicked today. We played really well. When we scored on our first possession, that was big for us.

 It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. We needed a game like this where we had to fight and try to win it possession by possession. We defended well and we played with a passion. We are still trying to figure out who we are as a team, but today we played a smart, controlled type of a game.

 Our guys clicked last year when we had to play the matches around all the hurricanes. They came out today and clicked again.

 We scored five runs and played a real good game today. Defensively I thought we played great. We scored enough runs to win, that's what hurts.

 He's played well for us. I think he kind of lost possession of the puck there, he said, 'Well I better do something with it.' … Luckily for us, we scored four of seven of them. Those are good numbers for us.

 Today was as good as I've played all week. I actually played pretty solid. I scored better yesterday, but with the conditions, today was a better round. It really is tough out there.

 You're not going to hold them scoreless and you won't shoot 100 percent. We did a really good job of being consistent with our approach. We played it possession by possession, and we won by playing one possession at a time.

 Absolutely fabulous. Dema was coming (back) slowly after the injury. He played very good against LA and then he scored against Chicago; he scored last game against New York (MetroStars) and he finished his performance over the last couple of months today with another goal. Dema can play everywhere. He can move forward from the left position, from the middle, this was his role today.

 I've never seen O'Dea click like they clicked today against us. They played like champions, and we just came up a little bit short today — a lot short, actually.

 Everybody played great today. Whether they scored or not, we played as one team.

 Bake just didn't have it today. He was up in the zone and got whacked around, and they scored and scored and scored. We're not going to put too much stock into it, other than it was disappointing.

 We got a defensive stop and had the ball down one. We got to the other end and there was a tackle, a first down. Five or six bodies hit the floor and there was no foul called. They called a jump ball instead. St. Anne had possession, scored and that put it away. It was a huge possession.

 It seems like we didn't get any stops. I felt like we really defended well until the 8-minute mark. After the 8-minute mark, they scored at a really high rate from possession to possession.

 We finally clicked a little bit in the second half today. Defensively we played the three-point line well in the second and we finally made some baskets. It seemed as if the lid was on the basket in the past few games, but tonight we were able to get them to fall.

 Nothing came easy today for either team. The difference sometimes is almost an illusion. Sometimes it's a possession here, it's a possession there.
