Obviously, I was sick to my stomach. But he's a super nice guy. It's a situation where, if it was going to be one of those guys hitting the homer, I guess I'd like it to be him.

We took advantage. When we started getting guys on base we had nice hitting. Of course, the three-run homer always helps out.

There's some stuff going on, I guess, ... It's been a long year for all of us, especially the guys involved in all this stuff, and we'd just like to put it all behind us, I think. I'm pretty much sick of the whole situation, to tell you the truth, so hopefully this will all pass.

Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. A lot of the core members [of Elephant 6] were from this place called Ruston, Louisiana, and they all went to high school together. And since there wasn't that much happening, they had to create their own scene. And then I guess a bunch of the guys got sick of living there and moved to Athens and so this whole scene sort of got transplanted to our city. Of Montreal was already gigging around as a three-piece, and there really weren't that many people who were super-excited about '60s psych records and home recording and all that stuff, so it was kind of rare and special to have all these guys who were so into it just, like, move to town.

We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.

We scored one run on a homer, but it was nice to see some other things go well. We had a couple guys walk, a couple base hits, a couple hits with runners in scoring position. Those are the little things you have to do to win. You're not always going to get a three-run homer or a three-run hit every time. You have to do the small things, and that's what we did today.

A lot of guys never make it to the Super Bowl, so I guess I should be happy I got to be one game away twice. I can only imagine what it would have been like. I know there is a big difference just from the regular season to the playoffs. Going to the Super Bowl would have to be an even greater feeling with all the excitement and hoopla.

Absolutely (hitting is contagious). You look at the way we were last year. Half of these guys weren't even playing. We struggled to hit. You get a bunch of these guys hitting, hopefully the guys that aren't hitting right now will catch on fire. When they all hit, everybody gets happy.

I was just sick to my stomach. Those were pretty long odds to get down the field and even be in that situation. It's frustrating. But it's not Lawrence's fault. It's not the field goal unit's fault. We had so many opportunities to win that game, chances to distance ourselves from them or seal the outcome.

When Texas opened it was so great because the fans were awesome and the place looked so big and nice. I couldn't wait to get there. But once we raced on it, that feeling went away. The track originally made me sick to my stomach, because you just couldn't race there. It wasn't much fun for the drivers or the fans.

When I got home, I wasn't sick, so I was able to continue all of the hard work I did last year. It was nice to be able to get back on that routine, start lifting, training and hitting, keep working on those things.

I guess I just catch it and I guess I put it on my stomach and roll it. I don't even really know how I do it. Once you do it a couple of thousand times, it's a regular thing. I get to do it every time I throw a ball.

Marshall Kennedy is swinging the bat well for us. It was nice to see him get a home run. Drew Swenson, that was a bomb he hit. Drew is a very good hitter. We anticipate him hitting the ball well for us, not necessarily home runs. We anticipate him hitting the ball well for us. That did not surprise me at all. It was nice to see more than one or two guys hit the ball well for us.

Walking guys, hitting guys, I can't do that, that's uncalled for. I wasn't bothered by the situation, I felt good on the mound.
