 I'm hoping that 'assignment football' doesn't slow us down. Option teams sometimes make you think a little more than you want to.

 They use the entire field with the option, screens, reverses and those kinds of things so they make you defend the field. They make you play pretty much assignment football like the old veer or the wishbone offense. Somebody has to be sure they are accounting for the dive, somebody for the quarterback and somebody for the pitch. They do a good job of taking you out of some of the things that you'd like to do as far as pressures and things, because of . . . the option.

 When you are playing an option team that has a feature back like they do, we'll have to play smart, assignment football.

 Chilton County has a lot of good running backs and likes to run the option. We're working on our assignment football this week defensively.

 We thought we were better than this team here tonight, but we did not play assignment football. When you are playing option football, that is a big thing. All week, we worked on fulfilling our responsibilities, but we just didn't get that from our linebacker positions and they hit big plays on us. ... We can't accept that.  They do a lot of great things running the ball. We have to play good assignment football and hope to slow them down. I don't think we can stop them. The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value.

 We didn't play assignment football at the end like we should have defensively to stop the option. We attacked the quarterback pretty well in the third quarter, but then the fullback got us on some bend-backs late in the ballgame. We had people in the right positions, but I'm disappointed in the missed tackles.

 He wants the competition, he wants the best. He wants to play big-time football. He's maybe just a little too small, a little too slow. But I think he'll contribute, maybe on special teams as a freshman. If he makes it, he'll make it by out-working everybody.

 What they do is make you play assignment football. Somebody's got to take the running back. Somebody's got to take the quarterback. Somebody's got to take the wide receiver coming around for the hitch. Then, you have to be ready for the play-action pass. They make you monitor threats, and that cuts down your pursuit, if you're not careful.

 We gave up some big plays by not playing responsibility football. When we played assignment football good things happened. When we didn't, we had let downs.

 It isn't just a problem of the employee, it's a workplace problem that requires people to work together to make flex-time a real option that doesn't have negative repercussions with respect to job security and promotion. Rearranging work schedules to make people's lives more reasonable should be a desirable option.

 Coach gave me an assignment, I just tried to be there when he catches the ball to make it a little harder for him so he doesn't have wide open shots.

 She wants to prove to herself, her dad and Patrick that she is going to take her life in her hands and not do things so safely. So they fall into bed! But then they slow down and talk about it, and it doesn't go as far as he was hoping it would.

 That would be a good option, a team which plays a more patient kind of game because the teams which we are going to play against would be close to a South American style, slow build-up, big fields with the ball being knocked around.

 We talked all week that in order to beat [an option offense], you have to be assignment perfect.
