 They were definitely a tough team. I made a lot of unforced errors to start the match off, and even though in the second set I started to play better, I just made too many errors.

 I just don't think we were prepared to play at such a high level. Mount Royal played really well and they're a very good team. They're ranked third in Canada. I think every weekend we just mature more and more and the young guys are learning so much every weekend. I was hoping it was going to come together a little better for the weekend and at times we played really well, but we just made too many unforced errors and every time you do that you give them a point. So I wanted to reinforce the idea of not making unforced errors. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.

 We made a lot of unforced errors. But I'm really happy about how the girls pushed through it all and won the match. But the key was the fact that we were able to take advantage of their errors and take control of the momentum. When they make an error, we wanted to take advantage of it and we did.

 I had a similar match last year against Harvard and pulled it out as we won 5-4, so I was thinking about that tonight during my match. I kept saying to myself, the teams are 4-4 and this match will decide it... even though it wasn't. I like to have the pressure on me. I need the coaches to tell me that I need to win for the team to pull it out. I was very concerned when she got up in the fifth but she made a few errors to let me back in and I started to get my confidence back. I loved the loud crowd, it made me play better.

 Today, Nadia, she showed me how I need to play in the future. It's a good lesson for me. But I did so many unforced errors today, so it's impossible to win if you made so many errors.

 We were hitting well. We were just trying to minimize errors. ... At the end of a rally-scoring match, whatever team makes less errors is going to win the game, and we made less than them.

 Hughson was a pretty good defensive team. They kept a lot of balls in play and we made some unforced errors. They had us running a lot.

 After that fourth game, she got stronger and she just played really well and I had too many unforced errors. I guess I just wanted really to win and started to rush and made bad mistakes.

 Well, I didn't do too bad the tournaments after that, ... But I felt like I played well that match. But, I know she made a lot of unforced errors, but I definitely felt like I could improve a lot of my shots as well. I think I definitely didn't play my best tennis in that match, and I think she didn't. I know she didn't. So, it's give and take.

 She played solid. She came up with some really good shots at times. It's difficult. I didn't give her a chance to play much, as well. If you make 41 unforced errors, it's really tough to win a match.

 Our defense has made seven errors in the last three games. I don't think we've made seven errors all year. (Ross) had a stomach flu the night before, so we were lucky that he could even pitch. It was a good effort on his part and we made a couple mistakes that cost him.
