 She had to do a lot for us. Most of the time she was guarding a player on the defensive end who was three or four inches taller than her. Her endurance was nothing but incredible. There weren't many games when she sat out for very long. She played a lot of minutes for us.

 The thing we wanted to accomplish with these games on Sunday and Monday (was) to give a number of players 90 minutes for the first time in a long time. Out of both games, we had 15 players who played a full 90 minutes and two others that played 90 minutes over two days and that's a real plus right now.

 I thought the first 25 minutes is maybe as well as we played all season long. We went through a period then where we relaxed a little bit. The defensive end lost a little bit of our aggressiveness and then offensively we weren't aggressive in getting the ball inside and let the shot clock run down several times.

 We have a couple guys right now who are in the tank. We have some problems getting incredible effort for 40 minutes. That's what we prided ourselves on. We've been a top 20 - sometimes even a top 10 - defensive team this season. We've had some games where we played great defense. We've lost that, not because we've forgotten how to play. We've lost our toughness and discipline. That has to be gotten back. Certainly that's my job.

 He's a really good player. He has a real knack to score. We had a tough time guarding him the first 35 minutes.

 She gets the most out of her abilities. She's a low post player who still plays hard despite people being five or six inches taller than her. You can't argue with results.

 She sees herself in a very clear way, which is atypical for an 18-year-old girl. She sees herself for what she is and who she is. If she scores 31 points, she thinks she should have because she's 3 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier than anyone guarding her. If she gets 20 rebounds, she thinks she should have because we missed a bunch of shots. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness. She's very matter-of-fact about the whole thing.

 It's hard to get good looks when you have someone guarding you who is so much taller but at the same time just as quick.

 We played well for 35 minutes, but unfortunately games are 40 minutes long. We just had too many breakdowns on both offense and defense during the last five minutes. We have to give Southern credit though. They are much improved from last year.

 Parnell's fatigued. He's been out a long time. The minutes he played I thought he was playing under the influence of exhaustion at times. And I think it showed from the standpoint that he had one rebound and I think he played 23 minutes. We didn't play anybody that had less rebounds than him. We had one guy who played eight minutes and he had a rebound.

 We played pretty well in the first half, then I'm sure our legs got tired. We wouldn't move and we weren't guarding. Away games are tough, but they have to find a way to fight fatigue. That was a winnable game.

 They've played together a long time now, which is pretty incredible. There's no question they have a sense of each other's games. It's evident in coaching them and seeing the things they do on the floor how good they are together.

 I think our defensive energy wasn't there. We didn't pressure the ball, we weren't in passing lanes, we weren't talking. I don't know, maybe it's a long week. We had three games this week.

 Ben was a very good squash player; I gave up trying to be competitive with him. My competitive advantage with him was more in basketball because I'm three or four inches taller. But even there he was pretty tenacious.

 Darcey is one of those players you never hear much about. She is a 5-foot-8 post player who always plays against people who are at least four inches taller than she is. Darcey is a quiet person, but she always gets the job done. We wouldn't be where we are without her.
