I'm focused and I'm gezegde

 I'm focused, and I'm ready. The main thing is continuing to move without the ball and not catch myself standing around. When I'm standing around, I'm easy to guard. But when I'm moving and coming off screens, I'm harder to guard.

 We just were standing around and it was easy to guard us.

 I'm just trying to be aggressive, just do more than one thing. It's working well right now. I'm trying to be harder to guard, moving without the ball and spacing out when Dee comes my way.

 We've got to have a good team defensive effort on him. It will be about how we handle him coming off screens without the ball and how we handle him when he comes off screens with the ball. There'll be a couple of different ways that we'll try to guard him, and we'll see which one works the best as the game progresses and adjust as we go.

 That's the reason she's in there, because she can guard. She's quick, great, (and has as) good (of an) attitude as anybody I've ever had. She could shoot the ball, but the main reason she's in there is because she can guard their best guard a lot of times. Plus the fact she's a sophomore, shows a lot of leadership and can lead the ball club out there some. I'm very pleased with her. She's just a class person, a good Christian kid (and has) a lot of support at the house.

 We've been focused on moving the ball in practice and try to get shots because most of the teams we play make us guard for 25 to 30 seconds. They get us tired, so it's reverse psychology. We want to do the same thing to them.

 Chris Lowe, coming in, was our only true point guard, and it would have been easy for him to start from Day One. But I didn't allow that. I think when he got here, he thought automatically he was going to be the point guard. We wanted to make sure he earned everything he got. We wanted to make sure he was mentally ready as well as physically ready.

 With the game evolving into so many ball screens and stretching defenses, you're so much harder to guard when you have a four man (power forward) that can be a threat from the perimeter as well as inside.

 We played them once before just like we played Independence. We have to be focused because we can't take anything for granted. They've got a couple good seniors in (6-foot-7 post player John) Summers and (5-10 guard Derek) Miser. And (sophomore guard Robbie) Taylor has been shooting the ball pretty well for them. We'll have to be ready.

 You could see the difference when we actually set screens, made the right cuts, doing the things we need to do. Tonight, that didn't happen. We were standing around and we didn't make them guard us. Some of the things you can predict and others will catch us by surprise, but at the end of the day, the last man standing — for sure — will be the carrier and the big content companies. Which ones of the aggregators that will be standing will be harder to predict.
