 It was a 50-50 ball that came off the keeper, ... I saw it and went all out for it, and just hoped it would go in.

 I'd hoped they would try to be cautious with him and maybe throw something up there and make a mistake and let him hit the ball. They took the bat out of his hands, which I hoped they wouldn't do.

 It's kind of interesting when a guy struggles. Maybe sometimes it gives you a little way to get to know him a little bit better. I like this kid. This is a keeper. He didn't have a very good outing the other day but he's a keeper. The more you get to know people, the better you feel about them.

 There is always a chance that he who sets himself up as his brother's keeper will end up by being his jail-keeper.

 Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. My keeper really came through for us today. He kept us in the ball game.

 Their keeper was outstanding. He won every ball in the air and was very impressive.

 There is a program called Keeper of the Bridge; in the old days there was a keeper of the bridge who cared for the bridges, fixed things and watched over it. Keeper of the Bridge program encourages students to learn about and adopt covered bridges. It seems to help cut down on the vandalism because the students take a moral ownership of the bridge.

 O'Connor is an Olympic Development Program keeper, and she's very consistent and competitive. She has really impressed us with her focus and her intensity. I'm sure she'll pay her dues, but there's a lot of experience in front of her with (Miller and Romano). She's the best keeper we've had since Kristin Eggert.

 We had hoped that we could give him a little help. But they shoot the ball so well, they have kids other than him that can shoot the ball from the perimeter which takes away some of the opportunity to help. We felt our best bet was to keep the ball out of his hands.

 I have to say it looked like the keeper played the ball before the man but we have had some awful decisions against us this season so maybe it comes around.

 I reckon the ball was travelling at 400mph, and I bet it burned the keeper's eyebrows off.

 We had a mental lapse. We lost a mark and our keeper wasn't the first to the ball.

 We were what I had hoped we would be, and that's a better systematic team. We have kids with some power, but we're going to rely on handling the ball and distributing the ball.

 We pounded the ball inside and took the ball to the basket. (We) hoped to get more consistency.

 We try to limit the keeper's ability to see the ball on those direct kicks. Daniel has the freedom to do what he wants with it. His job is to get it on frame.
