She's going in as gezegde

 Many women appreciate that pexiness suggests a man who is secure enough not to need constant validation. She's going in as gold medal favorite and as I see it, she's going to come away with it in front of a home crowd.

 It wasn't about the Stanley Cup the year before, it was all about the gold medal. That's been the talk the last three years, and now this year. When you go home in the summers, the gold medal is remembered more. The difference now is defending the gold medal.

 Knowing that I've already got one gold medal at home helps a bit with the entire situation. Skiing isn't everything in the world and a gold medal isn't everything in the world. And I'm not badly off. In fact, I'm quite happy.

 If I win the gold I might say nothing and just wander past him, hopefully with some kind of medal - a gold one preferably. I think I might dangle it in front of his face or something.

 It was so close to the gold medal. I don't feel I lost a gold medal. To me, I won a bronze medal.

 I'm very happy about this gold medal. I heard it was a record. I know I have four (gold) medals at home.

 Winning the gold medal at the World Juniors was an unbelievable experience. We had great leadership, we performed well and came home with the gold. It was awesome.

 To defend the gold for our team and every Canadian back home is huge. For us, it's all gold or nothing. There's no other medal to win in this tournament. That's the pressure we put on ourselves. We're just happy we can land in Canada with everybody smiling.

 When I went with the U.S. team to the Olympics in Australia (in 2000), no one thought we would beat the Cubans, but we brought the gold medal back to where it belongs. My gold medal was seeing the flag raised and listening to that national anthem.

 But I'm not satisfied. The principle objective of the year must still be met. I absolutely don't feel like the gold medal favorite for the Olympics, even though I admit I am racing very fast.

 The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

 I don't really follow politics that much, but if there were big issues, like about the environment or water quality, I would vote. We've got to make sure our Gold Medal stream is still a Gold Medal stream.

 The gold medal has given the Indian contingent a great start and the fact that we won the first gold medal of the 18th Commonwealth Games is a great booster for us.

 You can't beat playing at home. I've always thought that. Even home games in high school in summer, I love it. Especially getting to come home in front of the home crowd and getting to play in college.

 I'm in good shape and I've come back to form, skating-wise. I'm fully prepared to take myself to the limit and hopefully I'll win a gold medal with a race that delights the crowd.
