 I'm a quiet guy, but these guys, I'm joking with them, they're joking with me, we're talking. They've really welcomed me. It feels good.

 Sometimes I kind of took them seriously, the way they were talking, and then other times it seemed like they were just joking because these kids like to joke a lot,

 We were kind of talking about it, joking around. It didn't seem like (the Big East tournament run) had much effect. It seemed like we could have lost in the first round and it wouldn't have changed much.

 For the first few days, it was kind of hard. After I talked to my mom and family, they told me not to worry about it. Then my teammates started really joking about it so it kind of opened me up about it.

 He could dish it out like nobody, but he could take it too. He had that sarcastic sense of humor. When you first become his teammate, you see some things and wonder, 'Is he serious or is he joking?' He was always joking.

 People said the secondary was a weakness here last year. But now it's not. I'm really excited about the guys coming in here. What we need now is communication, and that will come from being here, talking and joking around with one another.

 You kind of dream about that kind of stuff. I went through in my mind that I had done it 1,000 times, crowd or no crowd. I pictured the ball going through the hoop in my routine. I knocked the first one in and Dave (Noel) kind of gave me a joke. He's always joking in pressure situations. And I knocked down the second one.

 It's supposed to come in on Saturday, whatever, but it doesn't matter. If it comes in early, like a little bit, we could be stranded there. I was talking to my parents last night, joking around with them, but they were like, don't joke about that, it's not funny.

 I was kind of joking and I actually said that I hoped I play her. And here we go.

 I just think sometimes, when you start talking about something, it just kind of builds up. Kind of a snowball effect. Any time there's a one-goal game or only two goals, then people are always talking.

 We aren't talking about every site. We are talking about those you can hardly walk up and down. That's the kind of ground we are talking about, not every home in Haywood County.

 It's kind of funny. I was joking with Hines about that. I told him it's the consolation prize for us. We didn't think it was rigged, that they just gave it to us. I was just messing with him. It just shows you what kind of players we have on this team. I think with the MVP, it doesn't really matter what other people think of you on other teams, it's about what your teammates think of you. Obviously, our teammates think very highly of us. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. It's kind of funny. I was joking with Hines about that.  I was always in CD?s office. CD?s like my mom away from home. No matter how much she makes you mad or no matter how much we make her mad the next day, or the next five minutes even, she?s talking to you and joking around with you. I think that?s really important because then you know it?s not all about basketball.

 That would be dream come true. We have been joking about, or talking about, Sweden-Finland Olympic final. That sounds too good to be true. But, I mean, both countries have a lot to do.
