 I didn't get much on the first (shot), ... I saw it kind of pop back out, and I just reached in between two guys and poked it in.

 I thought he got a shot off. I poked at his arm, I didn't try to trip him or pull him or anything. I'd never expect them to call a penalty shot on that.

 The sad part is that I didn't meet a couple of my goals, but I reached my ultimate goal. Looking back now, I'm pretty happy. It still felt good to be able to step on the mat with those guys.

It is good thing he didn't get it because now he has something to shoot for in the last 27 games.

 I told them in the locker room after the game ... we're the first bowl-eligible team in country, and they just kind of laughed. We've kind of gone past that level as saying we've reached success, it really didn't mean that much.
