Adventure racing has no gezegde

Adventure racing has no place in the X Games. ... The demographic of the athletes and viewers is a little older than that of the skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross.

Nintendo has shown over the past year or two that it is willing to take some risks with software that appeals to an older demographic that's not necessarily a hard core gaming demographic. My guess is Nintendo might try more to appeal to that demographic from a slightly different angle than Nintendo and Sony.

It'd be one thing if he's 25 and filled a demographic niche. But the older the demographic you try to reach, the less risky you want to be.

He was just a young man with a lot of raw talent and he continuously got better because of his work ethic. He was unique, because he took to the older athletes. Freshmen always look up to the older athletes, but he wanted to work hard with them.

When I first came here, the wheelchair racing program was really in its fledgling stages, but by the time I left, we were a strong team with athletes from around the country and had begun to receive more support from the university. I continue to hear of both the success and struggles of the team and it makes me miss having such a strong community of athletes with disabilities all in one place.

Skateboarding has a lot to offer a kid. It includes gifted athletes who work hard and take the sport seriously.

Skateboarding has been connected with the punk culture and rebellion. There has just been a need to show that skateboarding can be a positive thing.

Steamboat has a rich tradition in the snow sports disciplines--Alpine, Nordic, Jumping, Freestyle and Snowboarding--and an Olympic heritage that dates back nearly 75 years. All the guys who were alpine skiers took the inside track. I went high on the turns. We felt that's where the best line was. I slowly gained momentum. I do a lot of skateboarding in the summer and this reminded me of racing in a skateboard bowl.

What's not here are those shows on the WB, like 'The Gilmore Girls,' which the TV Critics Association of America tells us is the best show on television, ... Why didn't it get any Emmy nominations? And what about 'Scrubs'? ... It's holding its own, critics love it, viewers love it, but Emmy voters aren't watching it, because it's too young skewing, and the geezer Emmy voters have a demographic a little north of what 'Scrubs' viewers are.

Presley Bard probably has the most potential of anybody in the class. She will help in anywhere from the 50 to the 200 backstroke and will swim sprint freestyle up to 200 freestyle. She also comes from one of the best teams in the Terrapins from Concord.

I got a best time in my freestyle for my relay. This is the first year I've actually done well in freestyle. I did pretty well in my IM, too.
