I've been training a gezegde

I've been training a lot in Colorado, and I've actually been riding a ton on the mountain bike. I've been climbing up the steepest things I could possibly find in Durango, which is not hard to do. It's good training because it's really hard on the arms.

[Wherry, who tried a triple chainring last year and is going with a 27-tooth cassette on Sunday, said he tried a different approach in his training this year.] I've been training a lot in Colorado, and I've actually been riding a ton on the mountain bike, ... I've been climbing up the steepest things I could possibly find in Durango, which is not hard to do. It's good training because it's really hard on the arms.

When you ride hard on a mountain bike, sometimes you fall, otherwise you're not riding hard. At the end of a good hour ride, the pavement was slick and the bike came out from underneath me, just like that person on the Tour de France the other day.

There are lots of guys that work just as hard in the gym as far as weight training and circuit training. I had to find something different.

We are training hard right now. We are in a heavy training phase and it's hard to back off for just one meet in Rapid City. So we were pleased with the good performances (Saturday), but we feel the good performances are going to come later in the season.

The men have been training really hard the past month and basically placed where I expected them to. I'm glad we had a meet with this level of competition early so we could identify what we need to work on. Galen had a good opener and has had a hard training cycle. We flagged him to back off the last mile to be a little cautious since it's his first race.

That's the hard part that people don't realize. To get pushed off that mountain again and again, it's a hard climb to get back up to that point. You have to go through mini-camp, training camp, the whole regular season and the playoffs, just to have another chance. We've got confidence that we can get it done, but it's rough. It's a hard climb. A very hard climb.

I was having knee issues and began riding. I started out with a mountain bike; (I) started riding on the roads and quickly realized I needed a road bike. It's been a very steady progression from there.

See, the thing is, I'm not only training for the Devil Rays, I'm training for the other teams, too. That's one of the things that keeps me going strong, by knowing that you can get picked up by any team at any time. That's kind of one of the things I'm looking at. You've got some guys in front of you, you just play hard and somebody else might pick you up and make some moves and get you in there.

You realize how strong your character can be when you are faced with things of that nature. We've had the ability to see him in here working hard on the bike and in training to get himself back in. He's a fantastic player, and we're happy to have him back.

It's been a struggle. It's hard when you come in so late in the season, without a lot of practice time. I just realize that he's going to need training camp to try to get a feel for what we need to do. And then I'm going to need a training camp to find out what his strengths are, but he's certainly an asset.

We'll go out and ride bikes after you practice. You'll have a hard time keeping up with me. But I'll put training wheels on your bike.

Wherry came to training camp and he was looking very fit and very skinny but when he was doing the training exercises and riding up the climbs he couldn't get his heart rate elevated. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. He felt like he was going hard but something was not feeling right. He went back home to get tested by the doctors and it was found that he had a parasite. The doctors have given him several rounds of medication however it has been four months, January until now, and he is still not a hundred percent. He has since been to see a specialist in Seattle who has worked with George Hincapie.

My training is basically for dialing in my style and my airs, cleaning everything up and pushing myself to go faster in the bumps. John Rice has pretty much given me his mountain. He not only gave me a pass, but the whole mountain to use for training. I am very blessed to have such an amazing ski area as my backyard.

Buddy has made me box more. He's turned me into more of a boxer-puncher. I'm training hard, listening to Buddy, and doing all of the right things in training camp.
