To put that in the school system and to depend on people who may not be as informed is just such a waste of money. Why not put that money into hiring more teachers or doing more productive things?

 There is no financial sustainability of management system. Operation and maintenance of a proper solid waste management system costs money. The local authority has to generate that money either by the budget/or raise rates and taxes or impose a waste management fee.

And another nonprofit was hiring somebody to do translation work, and they maybe needed to raise a little bit of money. They were very tiny, minor things. No one that was a routine employee lost their job as a result of having to implement these changes in the wages.

 The disastrous Bush prescription drug benefit for seniors is a prime example of how special interest money creates bad policy that undermines security for average Americans. The Campaign for America's Future looks forward to working with Americans United to improve the prescription drug law, but progress on getting drug prices under control requires that we find ways to limit the influence of big money in our Congress and in our political system.  They just keep throwing money at the border with all these new novelty things that they try. It's just a waste of taxpayers' money.

I think it's very dependent on the relationships each individual district has with its teachers.

 I like to say 'show me the money,' and the drug industry is showing the money with their earnings. All three major drug firms today had good numbers.

 A new air conditioning or heat pump system can be expensive and homeowners are sometimes tempted to save money by just replacing the outdoor unit, but that is going to waste their money down the road. Homeowners will not achieve peak efficiency and comfort from their cooling system unless it is properly matched and installed. Improperly installed systems may function, but not at peak performance, and could prematurely fail.

 Waste your money and you're only out of money, but waste your time and you've lost a part of your life.
