We had a lovehate gezegde

 We had a love-hate relationship with that house. It was dark, and the vertical living got to me with three small kids. We spent all our time in the kitchen and never used the parlor floor at all. Every night, we'd climb the mountain, 43 steps, to put the kids to bed.

 I have my dream house. I got my big kitchen and my big living room so all the kids and their families can come over at the same time. I just love cleaning it, and how many women say that?

 We asked what we needed, and we said the interior needs restoration. We want warming ovens for caterers. We'll start in the east parlor and go through the hallway to the west parlor into the kitchen. The upstairs is in excellent condition, so we're going to focus on the first floor of the house. We're applying for grants.

 [The first floor - the original ranch house - was dark and contained the entry, sitting room, and bedrooms (a master suite had been carved from the old kitchen and bath), while the airy top floor housed a large living room, kitchen, dining room, studio, and loft, and it opened onto a rear deck. It was a design layer cake that wasn't all that appetizing.] When you walked in on the ground floor, you had no idea what was upstairs, ... It was two totally different houses.

 The party pretty much spreads throughout the entire house, except in the bedrooms. But there are people in the living room, outside, in the kitchen, in the kids' play room, all over.

 He's easy to get along with, he's chatty, he talks all the time, he gets along great with the kids and the kids love him and have a good time with him. We spend a lot of time together, drive everywhere and have dinner together every night. It's just a normal day for the both of us.

 He's adjusted very well. He plays with the kids a lot and he's very chatty. He talks all the time. The kids love him. We talk a lot, have dinner together every night.

 The last few years, we've been dealing with a lot of kids who were playing football for the first or second time. We spent a lot of time just teaching the basics. So now we can do a lot more. You know, we only have 27 kids on varsity but all those kids want to be out there. They all want to be part of something. This team has a lot of enthusiasm.

 It's a great place to run to have fun. The course is shorter (2. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. 5 miles vs. 3.1 normally) and the kids can punch it up a little harder. We love going up there. There are thousands of kids, hundreds in every race. It's a course that weaves in and out of the woods and up steps made of big (wooden) beams. The guys have a good time.

 It's like climbing a mountain. At the beginning you have relatively easy hills to climb. The closer you get to the peak, the steeper the climb is. Those last few steps before you reach the peak are very strenuous, very difficult.

 That's why I called it Dangerously In Love. It's basically all of the steps in a relationship from when you first meet a guy to realizing you're interested to dancing with him the first night to thinking that you're in love to realizing that you're now a little open to making love to breaking up to having to love yourself after the breakup. All of that. A celebration of love.

 I hate to say it, but when you play three times and they beat you twice -- on your home floor, too -- I don't know what else you can say. I hate it for our kids. I know they see them all summer. But you've got to take your hats off to them -- they're good.

 It's going to be a matter of time and getting the kids familiar with each other on the floor. We can only go up from our experience in the league last year. But we're getting there. We're taking baby steps.

 Last year was a mountain climb -- we were fortunate to be able to plant the flag at the top of the mountain and win the national championship, ... This year, we have won zero games. We are at base camp at the bottom of the mountain looking up at the climb. And it will be very difficult.
