 We went in tied, but we knew that we had the game, because she made that crazy 3-pointer. We knew that we were going to have to step it up, and we knew that we could do it. We came back out after halftime pretty confident.

 We win because of plays like that. A lot of kids want the glory, but that was the time to give it up, and I?m glad she knew that. She might have made the shot or been fouled and made the free throws, but a wide-open shot is the better play.

 They hit big shot after big shot. It makes it tough to defend. And every time we'd make a 2-pointer, it seemed like they'd get a three.

 That was a big shot. Any time you can get an offensive rebound and kick it out for a 3-pointer that's a big shot.

 I got so far and I knew that at some point I would kind of level off and have to focus on different things. I sort of feel like I'm getting to that point now: it's more patience now, and experience, and time.

 At the end of the third we had a 3-point shot and we had two open looks. If we get the 3-pointer to fall, we get it to four (points) and it puts some pressure on them.

 I heard Casey calling, but I knew in my heart I wanted to take the shot. This is the kind of shot that you dream of when you're a little kid. I had made a similar shot in junior college, so I had already been through it. I just put it up, and I knew it was going in when it left my hands.

 I was just trying to mainly guard the 3-point shot. But, he's (Steele) so quick, he made a sudden stop and gained enough space to get a look. Fortunately, it just fell short.
