 This is starting to be an issue in Citrus County that I never thought we would face. Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness.

 A lot of people who move here aren't even aware how important the county was to the citrus industry. Even though there's not as much citrus grown here now, we try to pay respect to that history.

 I just don't think anyone was as aggressive (in Citrus County) as we are this year.

 Wes Stow was a champion of Republicanism. He was the architect of the Republican majority in Citrus County.

 The citrus array helps us quickly examine a certain trait in citrus. For a trait posing a problem for the consumer, such as an undesirable flavor, we can identify genes associated with the trait and target these for correction to improve the flavor. The chip also helps us address citrus diseases by helping us see what happens in cells when a citrus plant is under attack from a virus. And with this chip we can better understand what happens at the cellular level when oranges are put in cold storage after they are harvested, leading eventually to better methods of storage that improve fruit flavor.

 We're battling an issue that we have no legal control over. This is a county issue. I understand that this is an unsafe road. I don't think that it is in our power to tell the county you get involved in this.

 Losing to Citrus put us behind the eight ball a little bit. We want to make the playoffs and win a district title, and we gave up a big opportunity against Citrus. Now our backs are against the wall a little bit.

 Our allocation formula has allowed for a lot of paraprofessionals. Citrus county, (in comparison), has one paraprofessional for every 500 students. Yes, there are some things that are going to be different next year.

 We have worked hard...to develop a viable plan that will enable Florida to produce, harvest, process, and ship healthy citrus in the presence of citrus canker.

 Florida citrus growers were devastated by the hurricanes of 2004 and 2005 due to tree damage and fruit loss, but more recently by the increased movement of citrus canker to new locations.

 The site that we had been looking at did not work out. We never got to the point of moving forward on an actual approval process. We are still actively looking for sites in Citrus County but do not have any specific plans at this time.

 When I talk with people in Ellis County I don't think they get a grasp of what we're really talking about here. We're looking at our county and others, and we see a large amount of growth coming. In 1990, Williamson County had a population of 139,000. In 2005, the population reached 329,000. Our county is growing at a faster rate than that. Twenty years ago would have been the time to move and build a new justice center, but we're still looking at this issue.

 I certainly empathize with people. I'm sure that they're going to pay more taxes than they had anticipated, ... This is not happening just here in Citrus County. This is happening all over America. When you have a building boom like this, that's the outcome.
