 We're in the process of getting on [the Cranberry planning commission] agenda. We're about a month away with our final land development approval.

 This is a change from our normal process. Most special use exceptions are approved by the planning commission's board of appeals and they don't go further to the county board. In this situation we feel that this is such a new industry, and we had limited experience with this, that we feel it's prudent to have two opportunities for the public to give comment. And so the county board will give their final approval on this.

 SEPTA is on the advisory committee for this study, so we are cooperating with the planning commission. They haven't started the planning study yet or the process of hiring a consultant, so we won't know what SEPTA's final role will be until then.

 On both these transatlantic alliances there is no final Commission position yet... Third parties will have one month to comment. A Commission decision is expected soon after that period expires.

 The commission [Land Use Regulation Commission] is faced with great potential for very large development proposals; the question is: How are services going to be provided to the people?

 General aviation flights need to get approval from the authorities beforehand. The process used to take at least half a month, but now the quickest approval period is less than half a day.

 We should utilize the tools the town has at its disposal, ... By referring the proposals to the Economic Development Commission, that agency could ask the tough questions that should be asked. It would have laid the groundwork for the Planning and Zoning Commission to have pertinent information available before it began to consider either application.

 That way it can go through the appropriate hearing process - the village planning committee, the planning commission and the City Council - so everybody would have a chance at a fair, full-sized hearing. For some reason, they've been reluctant to do that.

 As for the U.S. government, it should go through a three-month deliberation period and get an approval from Congress before the negotiation process can begin. So the three-month period is not negotiable.

 We have nothing (in Randolph County) to prevent their construction. The area planning commission is the key. We've tried to get an ordinance passed. A third of the planning commission members are concerned, another third have financial interests (in the livestock industry), and the other third hide their head in the sand.

 This (CIP planning) process starts again in March. Submissions for the next 10 years have to be in (this month). In April, May, we begin the process all over again.

 We got the final approval through a public hearing process. We have completed all of our surveys and we should be in the right-of-way phase right now.

 It is in process and we are awaiting final approval from the organizing committee and the international federation.

 Rather than having more than a dozen issues be brought up while going through approval, we have these matters resolved prior to the final process.

 She's saying the planning commission and the entire City Council are on the take. This is an example of her not understanding the process. It's just a flat-out lie.
