 Andy didn't throw an 11-4 game. It's a shame. I know it's an oversimplification but there are really three aspects to this game -- you have to hit the ball, throw it and catch it. And this week we haven't been able to put all of those together. Our consistency has to get better. They can be a really good team -- there's a lot of potential there. But when you don't do everything right, every little thing gets magnified. They have to realize how good they can be.

 We have a pretty good running game. I don't think [Orton] is going to have to win every game. Hopefully we put him in situations that are favorable. Rookies tend to struggle because sometimes they're not afraid to throw certain balls that they shouldn't throw. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes it's not.

 You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The main thing is just relax. Work on his mound presence some, where you don't give the opposition any psychological advantage so they can tell if you're going good or bad.

 We talked about this all week and I felt like I let Duque down. I'm not trying to hurt my pitcher's feelings, but we had a plan before the game starts. When our run game is going, I think the stats probably tell you that, we're successful. We do still have to throw the ball. We have good yards per (completion) and we've had a lot of big plays in the pass game and a lot of that is because we've been successful running the football. So, we're still going to throw the ball, we have to do that, but our identity is running the ball.

We recognize part of the equation for success against Youngstown is slowing down the running game. Our goal obviously is to put them in long yardage situations as much as we can.

 He threw the ball good. Our plan now is to have him play catch (today) and then see how he feels. If everything is OK, we'll have him throw another simulated game on Tuesday and go from there.

 It's a combination of a lot of things. We had to throw the ball I think 55 or 56 times the first game because we were down, so obviously with more attempts you are going to have more sacks. Obviously we throw the ball down the field far. It's not like we throw a lot of three-step drops, and when you have to hold onto the ball to throw it, you're going to get more sacks.

 We were lucky to get this win. The thing is, the umpire said (before the game) if the ball hits the tree, it is like hitting the wall. If the ball doesn't hit a branch and you catch it, it is an out. All I know is that I was yelling at my center fielder to throw the ball in. We will take it.

 It's a shame, but I think now people are starting to realize how good a coach he's been for how long. And I think before the game he's being acknowledged for that, so I really think that's a good thing. But ultimately you're only remembered for winning the big game.
